I'm having an icky day...

Well I guess it started last night because I decided to try the nose clean packs I got from the Japanese store last week because I wanted to do a review on them for you all. It turned out OK it didn't get everything out but I was still pretty satisfied with it. Then this morning I woke up all broken out around my nose with all these little pimples, I was shocked when I first seen it. My skin is just all messed up right now and it's so frustrating.

Then earlier today I got my camera back and was messing with it to make sure my pictures from my looks yesterday were still there and I accidentally hit a button and deleted everything on the card. I don't even know how it happened and it didn't even give me a chance to confirm it like it usually does when you delete pictures. So I lost those pictures. Boo on that!! All I could think was I can't believe it! Now I don't have anything to post today. I'm going to relax for a little and then I might just do some EOTD's since I really don't wanna show my whole face right now.

Ok I'm done now...lol.

Review:Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Dual Action Toner

I didn't want to do two review posts in a row but I let my cousin borrow my camera for the day and before I gave it to her I forgot to upload my fotd/lotd pics so that will have to wait until later today...

Wow that was like the longest title ever! lol. For the past month or so my skin hasn't been looking so great. I've been breaking out like crazy, it makes me feel like a teenager again. But not only am I breaking out I'm getting scars left from where the pimples once were, I'm not a picker so I have no idea why this is happening. I haven't gotten scars before so something is up. Anyways, my skin has gotten used to my old routine so I'm trying little by little to switch it up. So here's a review on one of the first products I've tried...

What it claims: Cleans deep in your pores and leaves your skin feeling energized, for a lasting refreshing feel. Naturally derived aloe and chamomile sooth skin to prevent over-drying.

This unique toner works in 2 ways:
1-Cleans deep: the tingly formula penetrates deep into pores to completely clean away dirt and oil.
2-Tightens pores: the tingly surge of invigoration gives you tighter feeling pores and seal in the sensation.

Ingredients:
Water, Alcohol Denat., Trideceth 9, PEG 5 Ethylhexanoate, Polysorbate 20, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana), Extract, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Allantoin, Matricaria (Chamomila Recuita) Flower Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Benzotriazole Butylphenol Sulfonate, Menthyl Lactate, Menthol, Blue 1, Fragrance

Price: $4.99-$6.99

Where you can buy it: Walmart, Target, Kmart, CVS, Walgreens, Ulta and anywhere else Neutrogena is sold. (Doesn't it sound like a commercial when I put that? lol)

My Rating: 4.5 peace signs

The Good: Again, like other products I like this is tingly. I guess I just have a thing for products that tingle. lol. It makes my skin feel really clean after using it and totally refreshed. That "clean" feeling lasts a good couple minutes. It also really picks up things on your face you never knew was there. Before I used this I cleansed my face and exfoliated and when I looked at the cotton pad once I was done swiping my face there was still dirt left! I couldn't believe it, I use the Clinique toner and it picks up some dirt but this stuff picked up more. My face didn't dry out either like some toners seems to do to my skin and I didn't get that tight feeling once the toner had dried.

The Bad: It has a slightly strong alcohol smell to it and if you wipe a little close to your eyes they will definitely water. Other than that I see nothing else bad about this toner.

Overall: I'm really loving it right now, it gives my face a much cleaner feeling than my other toner did and for the price, that's great. I'm totally going to be adding this to my routine for a good while.

Review:Almay Moisturizing makeup remover pads

I got these a couple months back and just got around to using them this month so here's my take on these...

What it claims: America's Number One eye makeup remover brand. Single use pad gently removes even waterproof eye makeup and long wearing lip color; Moisturizes eye area, fends off dry skin and fine lines.

Ingredients: Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, C12 15 Alkyl Benzoate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract (Cucumber), Camellia Sensis Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Price: $2.99-$6.99

Where you can buy it: Walmart, Target, Kmart, Ulta and anywhere else Almay products are sold.

My Rating: 2 Peace signs

The Good: They take off eyeshadow and mascara in just a few swipes. The pads are fully saturated with the remover so you get a lot on each one. Since it's a pad with remover on it already it's convenient and ready to go.

The Bad: The pads are pretty small (maybe an inch or slightly smaller in width) and if you have a lot of makeup on each eye you will most likely have to use 2 pads, so that's 4 pads each time you remove your eye makeup and these will run out fast. I also find that it takes a little more work to get eyeliner off the waterline and the pads are extremely greasy so you have to rinse off your eyes after your done using the pads.

Overall: I really wished these would have worked better for me, because I really loved the idea of how convenient they are. I would suggest these for those who don't wear much eye makeup or heavy eyeliner on the waterline (like I do) and don't mind having to rinse it off. Also, they do carry these in a non-oily formula which might be better. I just tried this formula so the skin around my eye area wouldn't get dry. So, I guess it's on to the next remover...

*Just MY opinion of this product, you never know YOU could love it!*

So did it last??

I did a review a couple weeks back about the Rimmel fix and perfect primer and jeSmakeup requested that I do an experiment post to show how it holds up. Sorry I took so long! I kept forgetting to take pics but here it is...

*Note this is an experiment on my extremely oily skin, if you have different skin than me you might have different results*

Right after application

At the end of the day, a little over 10 hours later. So, as you can see I got pretty oily. This was on a day I was outside for part of the day and inside the rest so weather/heat only played a small part. Now that I've been using this for weeks the less and less I like it. My skin has been breaking out lately too so I'm thinking this might be a culprit because it's the only thing I've changed in the things I put on my face.

Well it looks like I better head to MAC and get me another primer...

Moolah Baybee!!

OK, I wasn't planning on doing this look today but I've been so lazy with makeup, only doing the minimum or just the quickest looks to get out the door. But today I took my time and broke out a few things I haven't used in awhile. It made me realize I really need to stop neglecting my stash and start doing my makeup like I used to. Just like Christiana did not too long ago, she was actually the one that made me wanna do it. So, here's the look I like to call "It's all about the the Moolah Baybee!" haha.

Just the eyes... (excuse the brows they always seem to mess up once I take the pic, lol!)

The whole made up face...

Products used:

Weekend recap and Haul

I didn't end up going to the festival on Saturday because at last minute my cousin's group got asked to perform at a private party up in the lakes so instead I found a Japanese market here and I wanted to see if they carried Mandom or Sana products. They didn't have a very big selection of beauty products at all so I didn't get very much. I asked one of the workers if they carried the Mandom makeup remover or the Sana pore putty, she said no but they could order it and call me when it came in but the catalog that they had was like double the price. So I told her it was OK I would just get the items I already had. So I'll most likely order it off ohayo.com. Then I headed over to Sally's again because I read Tracy's post about the pump bottles and had to get one.

Sunday was the day my cousin's group did perform at the festival, it was fun but the venue was really small with just one line of vendors. I was disappointed because I didn't get to see Sam Choy. He was only there for a contest they were having the day before. So we didn't stay long about an hour then me and the fam went to Aloha Kitchen to eat, I love it there!

OK on to my haul...
Top-Total Immersion brush cleaner, twist lock plastic pump bottle and rat tail comb.
Bottom: Mango Calpico (YUM!) Black q-tips, Black pore cleansing strips and texturizing comb.

I can't wait to use the brush cleaner it has holders at the top to keep brushes in place while they soak (not for long though) and it has these grooves at the bottom to help scrub and get out all the makeup from the brush. I think I'm gonna use the pump bottle for nail polish remover and I'm gonna try and cut my bangs with the texturizing comb. I read about the black q-tips, they look interesting and I really hope the blackhead removers work.

If any of you ladies would like reviews on any of this stuff let me know and I'll do them first.

**Oh and today makes it 2 months until my birthday! I usually already know what I'm doing and have it all planned but this year I have no idea...I guess it's because I'm turning 23 and it's not one of those "big" years. But yeah....**

Swatches

Just a quick post since I'm waiting for the fam to get ready to go...

I was asked by jeSmakeup to put up some swatches of the pigment samples I got from Vanessa last week. So here they are:

First 3-Archetype Cosmetics: Angel Dust, Antique Platinum and Datura.
Last 5- MAC: Copper, Deep Brown, Pink Bronze, Deep Purple and Rose Gold.

I hope you can see them OK, blogger re sized the pic and it's really small compared to the original. Weird, because it never does that.

I'm planning do some looks with these soon, I really can't wait to use deep purple.

Coconut Kiss

This weekend there's another hawaiian festival I'm going to. My cousin is performing on saturday and I just read the details that chef Sam Choy will be there as well. I seen him on food network so it will be cool to see him in person. Here's a flyer about the event...

I'll try and take pics again to share!

I also wanted to share with you all how I painted my nails with my new polish by China Glaze in Coconut Kiss. It's a very pretty shiny bluish purple. The pic below makes it looks like it's way more blue but it actually isn't. I also used my pink nail stickers.

Have an awesome weekend!! =)

FOTD: Lucky Love

OK so this is the look I wore today using one of my Sally's girl quads. I just love how convenient they are and how fast I can get a look done if I'm in a rush. So here it is:

Just the eyes...

Whole face...
Products Used:

Face-

MAC prep+prime face w/SPF

MAC studio fix pressed powder

Eyes-

UDPP

MAC paint pot in Girl Friendly

Sally's girl quad in Lucky Love

Loreal Carbon black lineur intense

MAC prep+prime lash

Maybelline Colossal mascara

Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil

Lips-

C.O Bigelow Mentha lip shine in Coral Mint

I was surprised because pinks never usually show up me so I was really happy how this came out. I did this whole look in a little over 10 minutes which for me is fast because I usually take forever.

Hope all you ladies had a great Thursday, I'm SO glad it's almost the weekend!

Updated Review on Maybelline Volume Express Colossal Mascara

You can refer to my first review HERE but when I did my recent haul post last week I had a few questions about this mascara and since I've been using it for months now I thought I would do a more in depth review as well as share some tips I do when using it. So here it goes....

What is claims: Mega brush instantly zooms 9x the volume in one stroke, without clumps. Volume plumping formula contains collagen.

How to use: Sweep brush from root to tip. Do not let dry between coats.

Price: $5.99 and up

Colors: Classic black and Glam black

Where you can buy it: Walmart, Target, Kmart, Ulta and anywhere else Maybelline is sold.

My Rating: 5 peace signs

The Good: OK so 9x the volume is stretching it but it does give a good amount of volume to my lashes. The big brush takes a little getting used to but I actually really like it because it covers a good area in one stroke. I'm a wiggler when I apply mascara so almost instantly I can see the volume and length. My lashes are some what full already but this mascara really brings the fullness.

The Bad: It has a funky smell to it but once it dries you can't smell it anymore so to me this isn't really an issue, but to some it might be. It doesn't really separate lashes that great and can give you major spider lashes if you let each coat dry completely.

Tip: I'm not used to doing this, but for this mascara to work at it's full potential I had to adjust. If you apply more than one coat then you should apply each coat one after another, don't do like normal and apply one coat to each eye and go back because it gives time for the mascara to dry on your lashes and when you go back to the eye you'll find it hard to get the mascara to go on right then causing major spider lashes. So, do all the coats your going to apply on one eye and then move to the other doing the same. It might be a hassle for some but I find it's the best way to use this mascara.

Overall: I really love this mascara it has become my HG, I haven't used anything else since I first bought this.

*Just MY opinion of this product*

This is from right before my trip to Cali, I finally got around to taking pics. So here it is...

If any of you ladies would like reviews on any of these products or swatches of the lippies or eyeshadows just let me know, I'll be more than happy to do them!

I also know I haven't done a FOTD, EOTD and the like in SO long, but I've just been wearing the minimum since I've been feeling pretty blah lately but since I'm off the next 2 days I'll work on a couple looks to share with you all.

I need your help, please!

Ok so I've been wanting a mineralize skinfinish from MAC forever and with the 2 that came out with Sheer Minerals it makes me want one even more, BUT I have no clue which color to get...There's like 2 I think may look right but then I don't want it to make me look like I have fake tanner on my face! lol So here's a pic of the ones I'm thinking about and I would appreciate any help, advice or opinions! Oh and btw I'm a NC42.

OR would it be better to get a MSF natural, I know I've seen a couple girls that are the same number as me and use this color...

But I'm thinking with that one it might be close to the color of my actual foundation so it wouldn't be worth it to use.

Thank you in advance if you help!

I'm back!!

We got back in yesterday evening, we ended up staying the night and driving back in the morning. I got my new furniture from Ikea and can't wait to get it all put together and set up. I read ahbeeedotcom's and Tracy's comments about going to Americana but I didn't get a chance to because it got pretty late when we left Ikea and everyone was tired and just wanted to get something to eat and rest. So, Thank you ladies!! Next time I'm definitely gonna check it out, my bestie even said it was awesome so hopefully I get back there soon and go. Ohhh and also to my surprise I got to see my bestie Rachel who I haven't seen since July! I didn't even know I was going to until we were half way to Burbank and we stopped off where she lives in Santa Clarita and she came to Ikea with us and spent the day. I was SO happy! I always have so much fun with her and it's always non stop laughs. I wish we lived closer, but what can you do. Well, I'm gonna get to bed since it's coming up on 2am and I have lots to do today. I have a haul to share I'll post tomorrow so be on the look out for that. Have a awesome Sunday everyone!! =)

Review:Mary Kay signature eye primer

I'm a total primer junkie but I should give up because I always go back to my UDPP. I got a sample of this awhile back so I wanted to review it for you all in case anyone was thinking about trying it...

What it claims: Dermatologist tested. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable for sensitive eye area skin and for contact lens wearers. Fragrance free. MK Signature eye primer extends the wear of eye color and prevents eye color from creasing or smudging.

Ingredients:Ingredients: water, talc, isononyl isononanoate, cyclpentasiloxane, sorbitan isostearate, cetyl peg/ppg-10/1 dimethicone, lauroyl lysine, ptfe, cyclohexasiloxane, polyglyceryl-4 isostearate, propylene glycol, cetyl dimethicone, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, chamomile extract, lecithin, sphingolipids, ceramide 3, hexyl laurate, sodium chloride, hydrolyzed wheat protein hydroxypropyl polysiloxane, sesame oil, beeswax, nylon-12, diazolidinyl urea, dimethiconol, octyl cocoate, methylparaben, propylparaben, phenoxyethanol, tetradibutyl pentaerithrityl hydroxyhydrocinnamate, zinc oxide

Price: $12.00

Where you can buy it: marykay.com or your local mary kay consultant

My Rating: 1 peace sign

The Good: The packaging was what made me really want to try this in the first place because since it's a squeeze tube I knew it was easier to get all the product out. A little goes a long way. It also dries really fast. The consistency is like a moisturizer maybe just a tiny bit thicker and blends very easily into the skin.

The Bad: For my oily lids this primer didn't hold my makeup on even 4 hours. I was extremely disappointed because I heard a lot of good stuff about this product and thought it was promising. I'm glad it was just a sample size so I won't be wasting the whole thing not using it.

Overall: I wouldn't recommend this if you have oily to extremely oily lids because from what I can tell the oil is breaking down this products barrier then resulting in major creasing. But, if you don't have oily lids you could possibly consider this.

*Just MY opinion of this product, you never know YOU could love it!*

Taking a quick trip to cali...

Just for the day because I need new furniture so we're going to Ikea. I can't wait! I love that store, I wish we had one here. We're just going to the one in Burbank at first we were going to San Diego then changed our minds, which makes me sad since that's my hometown and I would love to go there even for just a short time. I also wanted to check out the Marukai market there but I'll just have to wait until another time. So, I'll talk to you all when I get back!

Ohhh I also wanted to share...It's my mom's birthday!!

So, Happy Birthday Mom!! Love you!

Review and FOTD:Sallys quad in Miss Behaving

I wanted to go a little bit more into what I last posted about school,it's not college college I'll be going to it'll either be cosmo school or culinary school as well as taking business classes. I've always had a hard time deciding what to do so that's why I've been taking tours and just weighing all my options as far as each school goes. I have A LOT of thinking to do and hopefully I'll make the right decision and be happy with it.

Last month I posted about winning one of Makeup Masala's giveaways for the sally's quads so I finally got around to doing a look with one of them and I also wanted to review them for you all. So, here it goes...

What's sallybeauty.com says about them: The mini pressed powder eye shadow quads provide blend able color with unlimited options. These shimmery little eye shadows are perfect for on the go color or a great addition to your cosmetic collection. Easily create any look by blending, mixing and matching. Select the color palette that matches your mood or your shoes and get started!

Ingredients: MICA ,TALC ,MAGNESIUM STEARATE ,ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE ,BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2 ,PETROLATUM ,CYCLOHEXASILOXANE ,CYCLOPENTASILOXANE ,METHYLPARABEN ,PROPYLPARABEN ,BROMOCHLOROPHENE ,CI 42090 ,CI 77891 ,CI 77491 ,CI 77492 ,CI 77499 ,CI 77007 ,MANGANESE VIOLET

Color combos: Sugar Daddy, Gumdrop, Envy, Moolah, Power Trip and Miss Behaving.

Price: $.99 or $.89 w/ sally's club card.

Where you can buy them: Any sally's beauty supply store or sallybeauty.com

My Rating: 5 peace signs

The Good: I was very very surprised how good the quality of these eye shadows are, they are really pigmented, go on smooth and are super easy to blend. I also love that they're small and compact so you can take them along and not feel like your bringing your whole makeup stash, also ideal for traveling. On the days where your pressed for time these definitely come in handy since all the colors are there in one place and easy to pair together for a great look. In the description it says these are shimmery shadows, but I don't find them overly shimmery at least not the two I have which are Miss Behaving and Envy.

The Bad: It takes a couple swipes your first use to kind of "break" the layer so the pigmentation it at it's fullest but that's it you never have to overly swipe from then on. The shadows also look chalky once you start to use it but they aren't (at least mine aren't) Other than that I see nothing else wrong with these cute little shadows!

Overall: I'm totally loving these right now, they are so convenient, extremely cheap and so cute! I'm already planning on getting the rest of the quad's.

*Just MY opinion of this product*

A quick hello

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I've been seriously thinking about going back to school so I spent the day taking tours at a couple different schools to really check out my options. I will probably not start until the beginning of the year since most of the sessions have already started or are starting very soon and I need to keep working at least through the holidays. I'm actually pretty excited about it, even though school was never my thing and after graduating all I wanted was to take a break! lol. I forgot to take pictures of my look from today but I'll most likely re-do it tomorrow because it was pretty easy and I wanted to give you all my take on the sally's quad's I won last month. Ok well I better get to bed now, lots more to do tomorrow!

My weekend

I posted friday that I was going to the Island Pacific Festival to see my cousin perform and that I would try and take pictures to share with you all but my camera died after just a few pics! I was sooo mad!! I charged it all night the night before, so something must be wrong with it because it's never done that before. So here's the pictures that I did get...

Junior Girls

Senior Girls

Senior Boys

Some of the Junior Girls (My cousin is the 3rd one on the top left)

It was soooooooo much fun as always, I can't wait until the next one! I also didn't buy much because most of the stuff there I already had or didn't really need right now. I did buy a shirt that represents filipino and hawaiian, it's really nice! Ok well I guess that's all for now...

Where you can buy it: Sephora, Ulta, Benefitcosmetics.com and anywhere else Benefit is sold.

My Rating: 4 peace signs

The Good: It's very light and has a whipped consistency to it, but firm enough that it doesn't get watery or runny. It's very soft and blends into the eye area very nice. It leaves a very smooth canvas for makeup and it makes blending eye shadows very easy. I really love that it's in a pot so you can get to all the product. It has really good staying power, I only seen very minimal creasing around 10 hours of wear and even when I removed my makeup after 12 hours there still wasn't any major creasing, which for my super oily lids is really great!

The Bad: It has a weird old lady perfume smell to it. I also kinda don't like that you have to wait 3 minutes to start applying eye shadows because I'm the kind that really just wants to apply and get right into putting on the makeup, but if I'm not in a hurry it's ok. I would also like to test how this holds up in different weather to see if the the staying power is the same, but other than that I really like it.

Overall: It's not my UDPP but still a good product, I could see myself still using it though.

Where you can buy it: Walmart, Target, Ulta and anywhere else Biore is sold.

My Rating:4.5 peace signs

The Good: On the days I get minimal sleep (which is most days of the week) I wake up to not so pretty puffy eyes that if I don't do something about will last for hours. I had never thought of using a eye cream or gel but I read an article in a magazine about this product saying it would wake up tired eyes. It's very light and you need only one pump for each eye, it dries very quickly as well. Since it's cooling it feels very refreshing and within about 10 minutes the puffiness goes down. It is definitely one of my must do's in the morning.

The Bad: Since I don't have dark circles I really can't say how it works for that. That's pretty much it though.

Overall: I LOVE it!

Are you doing anything this weekend??

I'm going to the Islands of the Pacific Festival here in Vegas and I can't wait to go! My cousin dances Hula/Tahitian with one of the well known halau's here and I always love to see her perform. These festival's are always fun, there's always good people and good food! haha. Here's a little flyer about the event...

Hopefully there will be some good stuff to buy, I can't get enough of my hawaiian stuff! I'll try and get some good pics to share with you all.

Also here's a vid of my cousin dancing at last year's Tahiti Fete, she's on the right and switches to the left about half way through. =)

Hope you ladies have a awesome weekend!

5+5 facts all about ME!

Ok so jesmakeup did this post a little while back and I figured since I haven't done too many "about me" posts I would do it. So here it goes...

Random Facts:

One-I am what is usually called a "big" girl, I put it that way because it's what I'm used to hearing. So that is why you don't see any pics of me in outfits or longer angles that include my body. I'm on a constant struggle to get the weight off, I'll get where I need to be but I know it takes time. It's a huge insecurity for me since there's so many gorgeous beauty bloggers out there that can show their bodies but I just can't, it's a hard subject for me even harder that I'm sharing it now.

Two-My first best friend ever is still my best friend today. I don't get to see her as much as I would like though because she lives in Cali now but I know she's always there for me no matter what.

Three- I am a mix of three nationalities and I know none of the languages.

Four-I'm realllly shy at first, then once I'm comfy around you I'm goofy and don't stop talking.

Five-I have a HUGE obsession with purses if a store sells purses I'll most likely buy one there. lol.

Now 5 *Filipino/Hawaiian/Mexican* Facts about me:

**Note:I really have no clue about my Mexican heritage because that is what my father is and he left my life at a young age.**

1.When was the last time you were back at your homeland? I have never been to the Philippines or Hawaii and I just been to TJ and another small town in Mexico.

2. Name 1 food dish from your culture you enjoy the most and why? Filipino Dish-Chicken Adobo. Hawaiian Dish-Chicken Katsu. Mexican Dish-Carne Asada. Their all just things as I grew up my family made and I love them all.

3. Name 1 house hold item that best resembles your culture.
We don't have anything that would really resemble them all.

4. Do you know how to speak in your language (besides English)? If so say a phrase or two.
I don't know how to speak any of the languages fluently, I just know little words here and there. Sux cuz I would really love to learn them all.

5. Which part of your country are you from? I know from what I was told my family is from around Manila in the Philippines and Maui in Hawaii (even though Hawaii isn't a country)

Ok well I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better!! =)

Review: Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer

Since I have extremely oily skin, I'm always on the lookout for a good face primer. I pretty much fell in love with MAC prep+prime face w/spf, but it just felt kinda heavy on my face most of the time. So I thought I would give some other primers a chance and see how they held up against my current one. I've seen other reviews out there but just thought I would give my opinion on it as well. On to the review...

What it claims: Skin perfecting primer smoothes and evens out your complexion, prolongs the wear of your foundation. Minimizes pores.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau; Cyclopentasiloxane; Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate; Propylene Glycol; Phenyl Trimethicone; Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate; Dimethicone; Polyethylene; Talc; Dimethicone PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer; Magnesium Sulfate; Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer; Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer; Phenoxyethanol; Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone; Lecithin; Parfum/Fragrance; Silica Dimethyl Silylate; Methylparaben; Gossypium Herbaceum (Cotton) Powder; Tocopheryl Acetate; Butylparaben; Ethylparaben; Isobutylparaben; Propylparaben; Silica; Dipropylene Glycol; Tocopherol; Triethoxycaprylylsilane; BHT; Hexyl Cinnamal; Limonene; Butylphenyl Methylpropional; Benzyl Salicylate; Linalool; Geraniol; Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone; Citronellol; [May Contain/Peut Contenir +/-: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Ultramarines (CI 77007)].

Price:$5.99-$8.99 (prices vary by retailer)

Where to find it: Walmart, Target, Kmart, Ulta and anywhere else Rimmel is sold.

My Rating: 3.5 peace signs

The Good: It's very light like the consistency of a moisturizer, but thick enough that it doesn't run if you dot it on before rubbing it in (like I do). It blends into the skin very well, smooths out pores pretty well and really leaves my skin feeling soft. I use a sponge to rub it in and it doesn't get streaky at all, like I've noticed with some other primers. A little goes a long way so just a few dots around the face and your good to go. Leaves foundation looking smooth and even as it should. Also, some of the other reviews I have read mentioned that the orange color of this primer is a con but to me I think it's what makes the pores look less visible and once it's all rubbed in there is no color left over (although I'm not sure about how it is with fair skin) so I don't see it as a problem.

The Bad: In the heat the primer doesn't hold up all too well and didn't even last 6 hours, it did however hold up better when I was inside all day or in cool weather. That's pretty much it.

Overall: For my skin type I guess this would better for the colder months, or days I'm not planning on wearing face makeup for very long. I really really wanted to like this primer but I would like one that I could use all year round no matter what the weather and has a much longer lasting time. In my opinion this would work great for those who don't have oily skin.

Also I was thinking about doing a experiment post with this as well to show how it lasted. Let me know if any of you would like that.

**Just MY opinion, you never know YOU could love it!!**

UD 24/7 eyeliner experiment

After forever and a day, I FINALLY did my experiment to show the lasting power of the Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil. I decided to really test it out, I would do it on a day I was outside most of the time, so this past weekend I went to an art festival called Art in the Park and the weather was really gorgeous here for once (since the heat hasn't stopped yet) so it was about 80 degrees and slightly breezy out. Ok, on to the pictures...

*The colors look off cuz my camera picks up lighting weird and I was never in the same place taking each pic, so that's why they might all look a little different.*

Right after application

4 hours later, some very slight fading

8 hours later, a bit more fading

At the end of the day, 12 hours later

So, as you can see it has really really really great lasting power. I have used TONS of eyeliners and this one has totally impressed me, with most of the others by the time 12 hours came around it had almost completely disappeared. Oh and I also forgot to mention that this was with no touch ups at all, which I'm usually used to doing but strayed away from it this day. I hope this was good because I've never done one of these experiments before. Let me know if you all liked it, or if I should do something different with it. Thanks if you do!
