Experiment/Review...

Product: Survival Paint by Facefront Cosmetics.
Price: $11.00
My Rating: 0 peace signs.
Would I buy again? No.

Well it's a big thumbs DOWN for the Facefront Survivial paint, at least if you have extremely oily lids like I do. I was reallllly disappointed because from what I heard I was expecting it to be great but it was just the opposite. The texture is a bit waxy and when you apply it, it's really creamy on you're lid and I left it to dry a couple minutes thinking it would get a little tacky but it didn't, it sort of made me feel like I was putting a thin layer of chapstick on my lids as soon as I started to apply my eyeshadow I really had to pack it on and it was hard to get it to move around the lid and get the shape I wanted, blending was also quite difficult. So I guess the search for a new primer is still on...

I decided to do a dark grey smokey eye because with primers that look is usually the one to make or break it's staying power, for me at least.

On to the pictures from my experiment...

Starting off at Noon,as you can see I still have spots that look empty on my lid and I was really packing on the eyeshadow. You can also tell the blending isn't too great the harsh lines just wouldn't budge!

About 2 hours later...already some creasing.

4 hours on...even more creasing.

Finally 9 hours on, I couldn't take it anymore! Look how nasty it looks!
*I also forgot to mention that I was inside most of the day and only left for a little bit so the weather didn't contribute to the creasing. I couldn't imagine what it would have looked like on normal day here in vegas!*
I read quite a few reviews on the Mary Kay signature primer and Benefit's f-y-eye, I may check them out or just make it easy on myself and pick up another UDPP. If you have any questions about this product or anything you would like to know that I didn't include please let me know!

Facefront haul and stuff...

I got my facefront order in already! It came sooo fast! I had heard a couple people talk about the survival paint primer and I've been looking for a new one so I decided to get it. They also included 3 samples of their Paint me perfect pigments! You can check them out HERE
So on to the pics and swatches...

Top: The survival paint. Bottom L-R: Pow bam wow, Bold gold and Hubba hubba.

Samples open, they have little sifters.

Swatches w/survival paint as base. L-R:Pow bam wow, Bold Gold and Hubba hubba.

I can't wait to do a look with these colors their sooo vibrant! The full sizes are pricey though at $10.00 for 1.9 grams so I'm not sure if I would get them, but we'll see.

I'll be doing a review on the Survival paint as soon as I can and I also plan on doing reviews on the two mascara's I hauled, Revlon and Elf.

Thanks for reading!!

If you decided to purchase anything from them I would REALLY appreciate if you filled out the form. Only if you want to though. Here's my info...Name: Niya De La Cruz and Email:Cuppiecake85@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance if you do!!

I have a question for anyone that uses/used Pure luxe eye colors. Do you have a hard time getting them to show up like do you have to pack it on for the true color to really show?? I tried using them yesterday and I really had to use alot for it to really come up, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Well that's all for now! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Getting to know me.

Since I started I've only done posts about hauls and such so I thought it would be nice to do one about myself...

This is me at 3 months. I was born on December 27th in San Diego, Cali. I'm Mexican, Filipino and Hawaiian. When I was 4 we moved to Las Vegas and I've been here ever since. It can be a really fun place to live but I miss the beach and can't wait for the day when I can go back to San Diego.

Here's a pic of My mom, My Auntie, My cousin and Myself...My mom is THEE greatest.Plain and simple. My cousin is like my little sister. I love them.

This is my best friend Rachel. I call her Dude,Fool or Rizay. We're 5 years apart but you would never know it cuz it's like we're on the same level. She's been there for as long as I can remember and I know she'll be there always. She's sooo funny, laid back, beautiful, caring and just all around awesome.

This is me now. At 22 there's still lots I've yet to experiance but I can't wait! Well I think that's all there is to me...

Makeup Collection, Mini Haul and More about mee.

Ok so I decided to start this blog because I constantly read everyone else's out there and I definately have my favs! So I wanted to share everything that I love about makeup and what goes along with it.

I started to use makeup freshman year of high school but it was just mascara and lipgloss and I didn't go on to MAC until senior year and I've been hooked ever since! I'm totally addicted to watching tutorials on youtube because I LOVE learning new things. I would like to eventually go to school and do what I love. So yeah....On to my makeup organization/collection.

This is where I keep my makeup. I got the idea from pursebuzz and I just found it at costco finally.

Here's my Enkore sephora inspired brush holders. I found the cute little containers at walmart, their soo adorable!

This is one of the drawers that has my lip stuff, paint pots, face powders, bronzers, etc.

This is another drawer with all my single eyeshadows, eyeshadow palette's and pigments.

Lastly this is my first mini haul I'm posting. I stopped at Ulta and this is what I picked up.

If you want more details on anything or reviews of the stuff from my haul, let me know.

Thanx 4 reading!
