Update and Stuff...

I got a few requests to do tutorials on some of my looks so I'm working on that, it's hard! Especially since this is my first time doing a tut and I forget to take pics in between steps and all that but it should be good. Also, I got contacted by Sally's to try out some of their products so if you notice lots of reviews for hair stuff that's why. I really didn't wanna put that all out there to sound like I'm bragging but since this is a makeup blog I wanted you all to know why there would be quite a few hair product posts coming up.

It's 10 days from my b-day! I can't believe it, things are still up in the air about what to do. It doesn't matter to me as long as I'm with the ones I love and having fun.

Well I guess that's about on the lookout for my first tutorial post!

Review: Beyond the Zone Noodle Head Curling Creme

What it Claims: Creates shapes and defines curls.Adds texture and incredible shine. Does not weight down hair. Tames the frizzies.

Salon Directions: For REALLY curly hair apply generously and scrunch while drying. Apply to towel dried hair and style as usual.

    Sizes available: 6oz. and 12oz.

Where you can buy it: Sally's beauty supply or

    Price: 6oz.-$5.49 reg. $4.99 w/sally's card. 12oz.-$7.99 reg. $7.49 w/sally's card.

    My Rating: 4.5 Peace signs

The Good: This product is geared more towards those with curly hair but it does work if you have other textured hair. I wanted to try this because I wear my hair wavy sometimes and needed something to help the wave stay in longer. This product definitely did that. It's pretty concentrated so a little goes a long way, you need about a dime size for your whole head, unless you have short hair then even less will work. I put it in my towel dried hair and once it dried my hair wasn't sticky or crunchy, which I love. It made my waves look really natural and it smells AMAZING!! Kind of coconutty. It also really tames the flyaways and frizzies that often come with curly/wavy hair.

The Bad: After about 10 or so hours my scalp got pretty oily so I would suggest if you already have a oily scalp like I do to just stick to using everywhere else on your hair and skipping the crown area where the oil is most prominent.

Overall: I'm really liking this product, other things that I was using for my waves just made them crunchy or stringy and this makes my waves look like I didn't have to do so much to get them. I'm definitely keeping this in my "wavy" hair routine for a good while.

If you have any other questions about this product that I might have left out, just let me know!

    MAC Ricepaper(highlight)
    Loreal carbon black lineur intense

I did it kinda fast and it doesn't look as blended as it does in person...but yeah.

Tag: 16 Random facts about mee

I was tagged by the oh sooo beautiful and talented Ms.Vianca and if you haven't checked her out, go now! hehe. Thanks for the tag girl!! =)

Edit: I was also tagged by the gorgeous Tammy my fellow Twilight lover! haha =)

This is how it goes down;once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a blog with sixteen random things, facts, habits or goals about you. at the end choose ten people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. don’t forget to leave them a comment ("you’re it") and to read your blog. you can’t tag the person who tagged you. since you can’t tag me, let me know when you’ve posted your blog, so i can see your weirdness.

16- I'm the biggest procrastinator ever! I always have been but never noticed until high school when I would get so behind and was trying to figure out why.

15- I've gone through so many style changes throughout my life that I realized I'll always be a big mix of things.

14- I don't like pastries. Cake, cupcakes, cookies, pie, doughnuts. I get grossed out by it all and I have no idea why! lol

13- I'm lactose intolerant but I LOVE strawberry milk. go figure.

12- I've recently found that I have a huge love for reading.

11- California burritos from Roberto's are my cure for a hangover. lol.

10- I went to clubs and bars before 21 (got snuck in) and barely go now. I guess it was more fun then.

9- I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be a photographer.

8- I eat hot sauce with almost everything, it's like it's not meal without it.

7- I have to sleep with the fan on, even when it's cold or I won't get a full nights sleep.

6- No matter where I go there is always someone that asks me if I speak spanish (I don't), it's like I'm a magnet for that or something.

5- I like to make stuff and decorate things.

4- I would rather text than talk on the phone.

3- I'm almost always late. To be early I have to start like hours and hours before I need to be somewhere lol

2- I'm hella emotional. Like if I watch lovey movies, I will 9 times outta 10 cry. lol

1- I'm really attracted to guys with english or irish accents. lol. It's just sexy to me. hahah.

    That was soooooooooooooo hard!

I seen a lot of bloggers do this already, so if you haven't and want to...I tag YOU!

**Swapping with one of my fav beauty babes!!**

Ok so I had been wanting this for so long and then after I finally got it, I realized it's just not for me. I don't really like how it looks on me and I never think to use it. So....I was wondering if anyone wanted to buy it from me (for a lowered price of course) I've only used it 3 times and with a clean brush each time (I'm a brush cleaning freak, lol) you can't even tell I used it and I still have the little plastic cover and box to it. Or we could swap for something, idk what but yeah...So if your interested let me know! =)

    Review: Equate Makeup Remover Wipes

I've been using these for a couple months now and thought I would share what I thought of them with you all...

What it Claims: Quilted For Deep Cleansing. These Facial Cleansing Towelettes Are The Easiest, Most Effective Way to Get A Complete Skin Care Regimen. Use Daily to Deep Clean Skin and Thoroughly Remove Make-Up, Dirt and Impurities. Your Skin Is Refreshed and Toned (to Minimize Pores), While Also Nourished and Moisturized. No Rinsing Necessary. With Chamomile, Vitamin E & Triple Tea Complex, Fresh Clean Fragrance, Alcohol & Oil Free, Hypoallergenic, Dermatologist & Ophthalmologist Tested, Safe For Contact Lens Wearers

Ingredients: Water, Cetearyl Isononanoate, Cetereth-20, Cetearylalcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cetyl Palmitate, Ceteareth-12, Propylene Glycol, Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile Matricaria) Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Aspalathus Linearis (Red Tea) Leaf Extract, Tocophyeryl (Vitamin E) Acetate, Fragrance, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Disodium Edta, 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1, 3-Diol.

Price: $5.99 for container w/60 wipes, $3.99 for 120 ct. refills.

Where you can buy it: Walmart

    My Rating: 4 Peace signs.

The Good: These are really great for removing face makeup and most eye makeup. I love that their quilted and very large so you can easily use one for your whole face and you'll be done. They also smell really good and 60 wipes does last a pretty long time. I also really really love the little container that is similar to baby wipe containers and has the slot with the wipe ready to go each time.

The Bad: It doesn't get off eyeliner on the waterline at all, I tried and really irritated my eyes so I wouldn't suggest trying it yourself.

Overall: I really like these just wish they got off all my makeup instead of just some. But for the price I would most likely buy them again since no other wipes have impressed me.

*Just MY opinion of this product*

    I just wanted to say...

Thank you to the ladies who commented on my last post, I'll probably end up thanking you individually as well but yeah...It makes me feel a lot better that you all understand what I'm going through and I really appreciate your encouraging words. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and I may have finally come up with some of the answers I needed. When I make a decision I will definitely fill you all in.

    Products I won't purchase again

I seen some video's on YouTube doing this so I thought it would be a good post on here. So, let's get started...

    1. MAC Strobe Cream.

I wanted to try that Dewy look and I had read if you have oily skin just use a good primer first and this should stay all day. Well, it didn't. My skin looks soooooo horrible with this on, the combo of shiny and sparkly is not cute on me! lol. Luckily I got this in a kit at CCO so it's just a small one. But yeah, definitely didn't work for me.

    2. Revlon Cream blush

I wanted to test out cream blush to see how I would like it, but this wasn't the product I should have chose. The formula was pretty thick and didn't blend well, it took forever just to get it to look right and then after maybe an hour it started separating on my cheek and turned a weird color and made my skin extra oily in those spots. It was weird.

    3. Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Bronzer

It got this mostly for the convenience of the brush and bronzer in one, but the brush wasn't soft and kind of scratchy. The bronzer was a little too dark and extremely shimmery.

    4. NYX Diamond Sparkle lipgloss

Ok so I LOVE NYX! I'm not sure if it was just the one that I bought but I really don't like these. The formula is sticky and grainy and leaves that white film on my lips. I'll be sticking with the Megashine's from now on.

    5. Mary Kay Signature Eyeliner
I was trying to find a new eyeliner for my waterline before I found my HG and this one totally failed. It went on smooth and easy but after about a half hour it was already starting to come off in the corners and then after a few hours it was running all down under my eyes, I almost literally looked like a raccoon! lol.

So, there's my list. If any of you ladies would like to do this I would love to see your lists as well, it's a big help especially when their things I was considering buying.

*Just MY opinion and experience with these products, You never know YOU could love them!*

    Long time no post...

I don't have anything to really say about why I've been pretty m.i.a lately, things are just weird and crazy right now and I have so much on my mind that I can't focus on certain things. I also just haven't had the motivation to post as much as I used to. Hopefully I get out of this "funk" I'm in and be back to posting as usual soon.

I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving! Mine was good, just spend it with my mom, auntie and cousin at home and I did most of the cooking for the first time, which I actually really enjoyed. So, it was cool.

I'm also really torn about school, because it's like when I really sit and think about what I would love to be doing everyday as a career nothing is clear enough. I just have lots to think about I guess.

Well I just wanted to fill all of you in a little bit.

    I miss you ladies!!

    Take Care! =)

Review: Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturizer

This is also a request from Precious.

What it Claims: Defiantly different tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 leaves your complexion healthy & protected with a hint of color. We've tossed in antioxidants, aloe vera & allantoin for soft, supple skin all year long.

Other info: Also comes in a lite formula for you fair skinned ladies.

    Price: $ 30.00

Where you can buy it: Sephora,, and anywhere else Benefit is sold.

    My Rating: 2 Peace signs

The Good: For those days you don't feel like wearing much makeup and need something quick this is definitely an alternative. A little goes a long way with this you need very little to cover your whole face. Blends easily and dries fast.

The Bad: I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin (like I have) because once your face starts getting oily this product really makes your skin look extra shiny and not that pretty glow either. It also doesn't hold up if you sweat or it's a humid day (like in the summers) when there's that extra moisture in the air. It definitely doesn't replace normal moisturizer so you still have to make sure you do that extra step because if you tend to have dry spots this won't really help that. In my opinion this product would work better for those with non oily skin.

Overall: I loved this at first but after using it for a couple of months and through weather changes I liked it less and less. To me, it really wasn't worth the $30.

*Just MY opinion of this product, you never know YOU could love it!*

    Review: MAC prep+prime face w/SPF 50

***To answer the questions I got about my makeup storage, I got it at Costco. From what they told me it's a seasonal item and I got mine in the summer. You might still check though. I also heard you can buy it on ebay.***

I got a request on the Cbox from Precious to do this review.

What it Claims: A skin-protecting cream with SPF 50. Applies under makeup to prime the skin for the sun. Featherweight, fast-absorbing, oil-free, invisible. Will not affect the look, texture or long-wear integrity of your makeup. Specially formulated with oil-absorbing powder, helps prevent oil breakthrough. Provides high-level broad spectrum sun protection. Worn daily helps guard the skin against discolouration, premature aging, dryness and other effects of sun exposure. Suitable for all skins.
(Credit to MAC for the info)

    Price: $28.00

    Packaging: 3 peace signs

Where you can buy it: Any MAC counter, free standing store, PRO store and

Overall Product Rating: 5+ peace signs

The Good: I can't even count how many face primers I've tried but I should have gave up after this one. I do want to try the one with out SPF though. This is totally my HG face primer without a doubt, nothing else has kept my face makeup on for so long and my oil under control. I've gone at least 15 hours with just a slight touch of oil coming through, nothing like how it usually is. I think the first time I ever used it, I was shocked at how matte my face was at the end of the day. Even in the hot summers of Las Vegas it held up! So that has to mean something!! lol The formula is light with a kind of whipped texture to it, a little goes a long way because if you use too much you'll see a white film on your face. But if you use the regular amount about a dime size it blends well.

The Bad: I can't stand the packaging!! Once you get low you really have to struggle to get the product out. I personally think it should come in the pump like the regular formula. That's about it though.

Overall: I LOVE this primer, it will take a lot to convince me something is better!

If there was anything you wanted to know that I might have left out just let me know!!

    Request: Updated Makeup Collection

I got this request from Sofeeahh I was going to take everything out and set it up all nice but it was just too much so I just took pics of them in the drawers. No I don't usually have it as nice I fixed them for the pictures, I like to call it organized chaos lol because I know where everything is even though it doesn't look like it. So here we go...
This where I keep it all

Palette's, Mascara's, Eyeliners and stuff I thought I'd throw nail stuff in just cuz.

So that's everything! I keep thinking how ridiculous my eye drawer looks lol I should spread it out and put some in another drawer since not all of them are filled. I hope I fulfilled your request Sofeeahh! =)

"It was like heaven, right smack in the middle of hell"

If you know where that quote is from, I'll love you forever! lol hahaha (it also gives you a clue about my new "thing" lol and if you know, yes i'm one of them! hahaha)

Anywayz...Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple days, I've been giving my laptop a break and catching up on other things I've been neglecting in the last little while. I've also been catching up with a couple friends that in our busy lives have slightly lost contact with, I never stopped thinking about them though. It feels great, I might already have girls night set up (which I desperately need more than I'm willing to admit! lol) so I can't wait for that. I have pics for upcoming posts uploaded to my computer now, I just need to edit and then they'll be up.

I also (just a like a few other bloggers) decided to not do any haul's for awhile, except for a swap I have coming up so that I can save my money. I'm horrible at saving and I always realize later on that I buy things just because not really thinking about whether or not I really needed it and then when I do need something I'm broke. Something I really need to work on. Since Christmas is creeping up extremely fast I need money for that and my birthday as well (even though I still have no clue what I'm doing). So, since I decided that I realized I needed something else to fill in those spots as far as posts go. I'm going to do a Pua (which is flower in Hawaiian) series of looks inspired by these hair flowers I make. I'm excited about it because I'm going to try and do some new things with my makeup and use colors I usually wouldn't.

I guess that's all for now, Hope you ladies are having a good week so far!

My lazy weekend EOTD and Mini Haul

I didn't do much this weekend just went to the store once and relaxed mostly. I think I've been stressing over too much lately and my skin has gone crazy again so I really didn't feel like wearing much makeup, this is probably the fastest and most minimal look I've done in a long time. So, here it is...

    Products Used:
MAC Ricepaper e/s-all over lid up to browbone
MAC Texture e/s-above crease and outer v
    Loreal carbon black lineur intense
    Maybelline Define-a-Lash Volume mascara

I also got these three things:
La Cross Eyebrow Shapers, Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub and Vaseline healthy hand and nail conditioning lotion.
It's not makeup, but they're all beauty related. Hopefully I can get my eyebrows to look better with the shapers I watched a youtube video the other day about how to use them different ways. I needed a new exfoliater because my other one went bad in the shower (yucky!) and my hands always get extremely dry in the colder weather so I'm hoping the lotion will keep them moisturized.

If any of you ladies would like a review on any of these just let me know!

    EG Minerals Haul

I watched a video by MommaGee a couple weeks ago and she totally sold me on the mineral eye shadows from Earthen Glow minerals. Just like every time I shop online I can never decide what I want so I was looking through their kit category and they have like these bundles that end up to be cheaper in the end rather than buying each mineral shadow separately. The price for a sample jar of each mineral shadow is $1.50 but with the kit each one is $1.25, some might not think that's a lot but savings are savings to me! lol

They came in this cute little bag.

    First Row:

    Blush in Ofu Beach

    Second Row:

Mineral eye shadows in Gilded antique olive, Deep royal purple, Cali and Milan.

    Third Row:

10 karat pineapple, Malibu, Electric lights, and Kauai kiwi.

They also included some samples of limited edition shadows in Coney island, Step back and Papaya.

Swatches L-R: Kauai Kiwi, Electric lights, Malibu, 10 karat pineapple, Milan, Cali, Deep royal purple, Gilded antique olive and Ofu beach.

The flash washed them out a little they're really vibrant in person, I can't wait to use them. I got my whole order for $14.50 including shipping.

You can check them out HERE

If anyone has any other questions just let me know!!

    Have an awesome weekend ladies!!!

    Let's talk Lipstick...

I have, since I started makeup always considered myself a lip gloss girl and left it at that. Only because every time I used lipstick I ended up with dry, tight lips and it just turned me off to it completely. I've been reading lots of blogs lately and all the talk about lipsticks makes me really want to buy some but I always go back to my thoughts of the bad and how I'll just end up going right back to my lip gloss. So any of you ladies care to persuade me?? I'm mostly wanting to know about different formulas and I'm also open to different brands as well any other thoughts you may have. Thanks in advance if you do!!

And just for the sake of putting a picture...

    7 deadly lippies!!

hahaha not really deadly, just a tag Nanzy did and I thought it was fun so here it goes...

I tried to do like she did and take pics of my lips with each of these on, but it just wasn't working out for me so I'll just explain why I love each one...

Smiths Rosebud Salve-I like to use this on those days I need some extra moisture on my lips, I find the rose scent to be just right not at all overpowering.

C.O. Bigelow Mentha lip tint in coral mint-I posted about these a few months back and as some of you know I have a thing for the "tingly" products, I think because it's like fresh and cool feeling to my lips and with this one I get that and a really nice coraly pink color.

C.O. Bigelow Cinnamint mentha lip shine-I've been using this since it first came out and it's always the one I go back to buy, especially when there's a sale. It smells awesome and I like to wear it alone on days I don't feel like using much on my lips.

Lip smacker in Strawberry Kiwi-This stuff is like my new love right now, I've been using it so much since I got it last weekend. It keeps my lips soft and moisturized for a good amount of time and also gives a very nice soft pink color.

MAC lustre glass in Love Nectar-Such a pretty shimmery pink!! I wore this almost everyday over the summer, it's versatile with many different looks and on those barely there makeup days.

NYX mega shine lip gloss in Beige-This has to be my fav of all. It's like THEE perfect pink to me, I love to pair it with all kinds of different looks. I always think I need to buy cases of it so I never run out! lol

MAC Lipglass in Lust-This was my first ever lipglass color I got from MAC. I always seem to go back to it no matter how addicted I am to the other 6 up there. It's like a pretty mix of pink and brown but not too strong, just right. I always love to pair it with a dark smokey eye but it can go with lots of other looks especially neutrals.

OK so since this is a tag....

I tag....YOU, yep YOU reading this right now!! Let me know when you do, I'd love to know everyone else's "7 deadly lippies"

Review: Beyond the Zone Turn up the Heat Flat iron protection

I also got this request from Vanessa she gives me ideas when I run out! =)

What it Claims: A spray-in treatment that smooths the hair. This humidity resistant heat styling aid adds a "Heat Defense" barrier that protects the hair from thermal heat. This product helps optimize the effectiveness of flat irons, curling irons, and hair dryers while providing outstanding heat protection while adding smoothness, shine and softness to your hair.

-Use with flat irons, curling irons or any heat styling appliance
    -Leaves hair soft and manageable
    -Provides luxurious shine
-Seals the cuticle for silky smooth looking hair
-Creates slip for effortless heat styling

Tips for using: To smooth frizz and add shine, mist lightly all over damp hair and blow dry with a round brush. For sleek, straight hair or smooth, defined curls, mist lightly onto sections of dry hair and comb through to ends. Flat iron or curl with a curling iron.

For blow-drying: Hold 8 inches from the head and spray directly onto wet hair. For styling with irons on dry hair: Spray onto dry hair before using heat appliances, working in sections. Allow hair to cool, then brush or separate with fingers.

Price: $6.49 regular. $5.99 with membership card, it's also on sale right now for $4.50.

Where you can buy it: Sally's beauty supply store or

    My Rating: 4 peace signs

The Good: After using it for about a week I noticed my hair was more smooth and shiny. I also didn't have any little frizzies or fly aways. I feel my hair starting to get a little more healthy and it makes me not feel bad about straightening my hair as much as I do. There also isn't a sticky feeling or residue it leaves behind. It's a light spray so it doesn't weigh hair down at all. Totally staying in my hair care routine for a good while.

The Bad: Personally I'm not really into the scent, it's kind of berryish. So, that's why I took the point off.

Overall: I really like it, I stopped using a heat protector for awhile because I was using a leave in conditioner but now that I started using this I realized I should have never stopped.

    Sale@ CVS and Haul

Gevie mentioned this on her blog so that's how I found out about it and I wanted to share it with you all. So, thank you Gevie!!

This was all I could get because the CVS I went to barely had anything left and what was still there was open and messed with and that's just gross! lol.

Color Truth Cream liners in Midnight Blue and Eggplant

Last week I watched a video on youtube where a girl used fluidline as a color base for her eyeshadow and these are pretty much the same thing so I seen my mom had a brand new one in black and I used it and loved how it worked. I didn't have a blue or purple base so that's why I really wanted these two colors.

Hope you ladies have an awesome tuesday!! =)

Review: Loreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense

Vanessa asked me to do a review on this a few weeks ago, Sorry I took so long! But here it is...

What it Claims: The cleverly designed applicator of the Lineur Intense Felt tip eyeliner allows you to create delicately thin or dramatically bold lines with precision. Fragrance free formula. Last up to 8 hours. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Polyester-5, Alcohol Denat., Trilaureth-4 Phosphate, Acacia/Acacia Senegal Gum, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Propylparaben. May Contain: CI 77266/D&C Black No. 2.

Additional Info: For this "Carbon Black" formula it is only available in one color.

    Price: $6.99-$8.99

Where you can buy it: Walmart, Target, Kmart, Ulta and anywhere else Loreal is sold.

    My Rating: 5+++ peace signs.

The Good: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this liquid eyeliner!! I used the regular formula for years before this one came out and have been using this one for 2 years now. The felt tip applicator makes it SO easy to get the perfect cat eye or for a nice thin line. I've used tons of other liquid liners and this one is way easy to use and I always get a perfect straight line (sometimes without even trying). The color is a very deep dark black and has a slight shine to it once it dries (which is fast, only a few seconds) but nothing major. I also like how you can make the line thinner or thicker very easily so depending on what kind of look you want, you just apply more or less pressure. The lasting power is great, I've gone more than 12 hours without it budging. OK, so I don't think I could have said more good stuff about this!

The Bad: In my opinion, none.

Overall: Definitely my HG liquid liner (even though I'm always trying others to see how they compare! lol) I would totally recommend it. It's just a really good product, especially from Loreal which I don't really use except for the HIP line.

*Just MY opinion of this product*

I did look today using another one of the Sally Girl quad's in Envy. I was in a little rush so here it is...

I was right in front of the window so that's why I look kinda light

    Products Used:

Loreal HIP Color Cream Crayon in Black

    Sally Girl quad in Envy

    Loreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense

    Maybelline Define-a-Lash Volume Mascara

    MAC technakohl in Graphblack

    MAC prep+prime w/SPF

    MAC studio fix pressed powder

    Watermelon Lipsmackers

    MAC lipglass in Lust

I haven't been doing much hauling or anything and I'm still testing products out to do reviews so those will be up soon.

*Also if you use the Sally's girl quad's in Envy or Power Trip you will need either a white base or colored base to match it because I find those are the two that are the most sheer out of all.*

    This is what boredom does...

I felt like doing something different with my makeup just to see what I could come up with. I don't really know what to call this look but I just wanted to share it.

I used one of those NYX jumbo eye pencils and it was creasing like crazy, I really need to invest in some more paint pots in different colors.
I liked this look for the most part it's different than what I usually do, I know now the things I need to work on.
Well I hope you all have an awesome weekend!! My cousin has a dance competition until Monday so that's where I'll be. Take Care Everyone!! =)
