My Christmas/Birthday Wish list

Hello beautiful ladies!!

I finally got all my Christmas shopping done over the weekend and man am I glad that's done! It's like you think you know what to get everyone until you actually go out and look for it so I'm happy that pressure is off lol.

So, I've seen posts and videos going around about wish lists and I really wanted to do one too, plus while I was out shopping I seen so many things I wanted but had to resist! Since Christmas and my birthday are only two days apart I figured I would combine the two lists. These are just a few things I've been eyeing for quite awhile and they aren't all makeup or beauty related but I still wanted to share! Here we go...

Review: GVP Tea Tree Oil Treatment

Hey everyone!

Melissa Joy requested a review on this Tea Tree oil treatment, here it is girl! Enjoy!

What it claims: Compares to Paul Mitchell Tea Tree hair & scalp treatment.

•Moisturizes and conditions hair

•Helps to soothe and treat scalp

•Helps repair and protect hair

GVP Tea Tree Oil Treatment moisturizes and conditions dry, brittle hair while soothing the scalp. Leaves hair soft and manageable and scalp feeling invigorated. Tea Tree Oil has been known for its antiseptic properties to help to soothe and treat the scalp . Compare to Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair & Scalp Treatment.

Directions: Rub a small amount to palms of hands. Apply to hair and scalp for 3-5 minutes. Rinse.

Where you can buy it: Only at Sally's beauty Supply or sallybeauty.com

Price: $6.49 or $5.99 with your Sally beauty club card

Size: 6.8 Fl. Oz

My Rating: 4.5 Peace signs

The Good: I was very impressed by this product. I used this as my weekly deep conditioner and it definitely made a difference in my hair. I think the thing that really sealed the deal for me was in the summer when we were going to the pool either everyday or every few days and we all know the damage chlorine does to your hair and this would bring it right back to life! I also really like that tingly minty feeling that products give and this does that too, it makes it feel even more like it's working. It definitely made my hair soft, shiny and more manageable. As far as treating the scalp it did help with the oil production I get on the regular by reducing it slightly for a day or so which I loved!

The Bad: I think the only bad thing I could think of is the smell. It's a sort of strong minty smell that kinda made me sick after awhile but I am really sensitive to smells so it's probably just me lol.

Overall: I would totally recommend this product especially if you hair like mine (oily scalp, fine) but even if you don't I think it would work great because it's extremely moisturizing and gives that little boost your hair needs after a week of wear and tear.

If you have any questions on something I might have left out, please let me know!

*This is just MY opinion on this product, it may or may not work the same for YOU. You never know!*

NOTW: Times Square

Hello!

I'm back to share my nails for this week. I've been on the hunt for a pretty red that looks good with my skin tone and I think I found it! I was saying on twitter not that long ago that reds never look good on me but that was because I never found the right shade. Well as soon as I seen this polish I fell in love!

Polishes used:

Sinful Colors base coat, NYC in a new york color minute polish in Times Square and Out the door topcoat.

Do you have a favorite red polish?

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I haven't had time to do any Christmas shopping so Saturday I decided it was about time since I was off work. Of course leave it to me I get indecisive and can't find something for everyone lol so now I have finish up sometime this week or next weekend. I did however see a few things for myself along the way haha.

First up are these oh so cute PJ's! If you know me then you are fully aware of my love for animal print so you know I couldn't pass these up!

These next three I've been wanting for awhile and could never find (except for the hard candy polish)

Neeyuh's Tips: Nail polish removal

Hey everyone!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Since I got really into painting my nails on the regular last year I'm always on the lookout for new or easier ways to do things that make the process smoother for me. One of my biggest issues is removing dark polish or glitter, it would get everywhere and make a huge mess. So, one day I was on youtube and came across this video from Glintzy, Click HERE to watch. In the video she mentions that felt makes it much easier to remove all kinds of polish. You can find it at craft stores and even walmart for about $.30-$.40 a sheet, you then cut them into squares or rectangles in whatever size you prefer. This is how I cut mine ( I got about 30 squares per sheet):

I can usually use one for all 10 nails but one thing I will warn you about is that it does make a little bit of a mess because it's removing so quickly so you'll most likely have to use one more to clean up the excess.

Another thing that helps out is the type of polish remover you use, this is what I use:

I know that acetone isn't the best for your nails but I've been using it forever and haven't had any problems. It's the best remover in my opinion and I won't ever use anything else!

Do you do something similar to this for removing your nail polish?

NOTW: French Kiss

Hello!

I just wanted to share my nails for this week, I'm absolutely in love with the color! It comes off much lighter in pictures than it is in person.

Polishes used:

Sinful Colors base coat, Pure ice in French Kiss and Out the Door topcoat.

I love the formula of the Pure ice polish, it's so smooth and makes it easy to get an even coat. Also for being a color I'm not used to wearing I'm addicted, I want to wear it for weeks and weeks!

I'm Back!!

Hey everyone!!

I know I abandoned this blog again and I really wish I hadn't. My life has been crazy these last few months but no matter what was going on I always missed beauty blogging. Now that things have settled down for me I'm going to try my hardest to get back into things. I hope everyone hasn't forgotten about me! lol.

So, the biggest thing I focused on while I was away was finishing products that have been sitting around for way too long or just getting through products in general. I made sure to take pictures after each month or so and I'm actually really proud of myself! I stuck to these products and have only really bought things when it was an absolute need. But yeah on to the products...

L to R: Victoria's Secret Garden refreshing body mist in Enchanted Apple, Bath and Body works body lotion in White Tea and Ginger, Soap&Glory Heel Genius foot mask, Clean and Clear finishes pore perfecting moisturizer, Kiwi Strawberry Lipsmackers, Up&Up Daily facial cleanser and Victoria's Secret Garden hand and body moisturizer in Pure Seduction.

L to R: Kirkland daily facial cleansing towelettes, Queen Helene mint julep natural facial scrub, Hollister body lotion in Hermosa Beach, Mark for goodness face moisturizer, Strawberry Vanilla Lipsmackers and Garnier Fructis Leave-in conditioning cream.

GVP Tea tree oil treatment and Pantene Fine hair solutions anti-breakage detangler.

That's everything! You'll probably be seeing reviews on some of these products coming up in the next few weeks but if you would like anything in particular reviewed please let me know!

I'm so glad to be back, I missed you all!!

Where I've been and recent hauls

Hello my beautiful readers!!

First I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all my new followers, I hit 300 while I was away!!

It's been over a month since I last blogged! I really missed it! It has been some busy times for me lately. I went on vacation in San Diego from June 12-21st, I always love going there because I get to see all my family and I never want to leave! We went to the San Diego county fair and to my nephews graduation from Mira Mesa High (I'm so proud of you Bran!) I want to move back so bad because I'm missing out on a lot being here in Vegas. Anyways, other than that I've been getting my day to day stuff done and I also started to work out so my days don't end until midnight or later most of the time. Crazyness!

Here's a pic of the fam bammers :)

On top of all that I've been doing some hauling here and there since my no buy ended on June 1st, 2 of these hauls are from sales that are no longer going so sorry about that!
