Review: Beyond the Zone Noodle Head Curling Creme
Salon Directions: For REALLY curly hair apply generously and scrunch while drying. Apply to towel dried hair and style as usual.
Sizes available: 6oz. and 12oz.
Where you can buy it: Sally's beauty supply or sallybeauty.com
Price: 6oz.-$5.49 reg. $4.99 w/sally's card. 12oz.-$7.99 reg. $7.49 w/sally's card.
My Rating: 4.5 Peace signs
The Good: This product is geared more towards those with curly hair but it does work if you have other textured hair. I wanted to try this because I wear my hair wavy sometimes and needed something to help the wave stay in longer. This product definitely did that. It's pretty concentrated so a little goes a long way, you need about a dime size for your whole head, unless you have short hair then even less will work. I put it in my towel dried hair and once it dried my hair wasn't sticky or crunchy, which I love. It made my waves look really natural and it smells AMAZING!! Kind of coconutty. It also really tames the flyaways and frizzies that often come with curly/wavy hair.
The Bad: After about 10 or so hours my scalp got pretty oily so I would suggest if you already have a oily scalp like I do to just stick to using everywhere else on your hair and skipping the crown area where the oil is most prominent.
Overall: I'm really liking this product, other things that I was using for my waves just made them crunchy or stringy and this makes my waves look like I didn't have to do so much to get them. I'm definitely keeping this in my "wavy" hair routine for a good while.
If you have any other questions about this product that I might have left out, just let me know!

Tag: 16 Random facts about mee
Edit: I was also tagged by the gorgeous Tammy my fellow Twilight lover! haha =)
This is how it goes down;once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a blog with sixteen random things, facts, habits or goals about you. at the end choose ten people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. don’t forget to leave them a comment ("you’re it") and to read your blog. you can’t tag the person who tagged you. since you can’t tag me, let me know when you’ve posted your blog, so i can see your weirdness.
16- I'm the biggest procrastinator ever! I always have been but never noticed until high school when I would get so behind and was trying to figure out why.
15- I've gone through so many style changes throughout my life that I realized I'll always be a big mix of things.
14- I don't like pastries. Cake, cupcakes, cookies, pie, doughnuts. I get grossed out by it all and I have no idea why! lol
13- I'm lactose intolerant but I LOVE strawberry milk. go figure.
12- I've recently found that I have a huge love for reading.
11- California burritos from Roberto's are my cure for a hangover. lol.
10- I went to clubs and bars before 21 (got snuck in) and barely go now. I guess it was more fun then.
9- I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be a photographer.
8- I eat hot sauce with almost everything, it's like it's not meal without it.
7- I have to sleep with the fan on, even when it's cold or I won't get a full nights sleep.
6- No matter where I go there is always someone that asks me if I speak spanish (I don't), it's like I'm a magnet for that or something.
5- I like to make stuff and decorate things.
4- I would rather text than talk on the phone.
3- I'm almost always late. To be early I have to start like hours and hours before I need to be somewhere lol
2- I'm hella emotional. Like if I watch lovey movies, I will 9 times outta 10 cry. lol
1- I'm really attracted to guys with english or irish accents. lol. It's just sexy to me. hahah.
That was soooooooooooooo hard!
I seen a lot of bloggers do this already, so if you haven't and want to...I tag YOU!

Price: $5.99 for container w/60 wipes, $3.99 for 120 ct. refills.
Where you can buy it: Walmart
My Rating: 4 Peace signs.
The Good: These are really great for removing face makeup and most eye makeup. I love that their quilted and very large so you can easily use one for your whole face and you'll be done. They also smell really good and 60 wipes does last a pretty long time. I also really really love the little container that is similar to baby wipe containers and has the slot with the wipe ready to go each time.
The Bad: It doesn't get off eyeliner on the waterline at all, I tried and really irritated my eyes so I wouldn't suggest trying it yourself.
Overall: I really like these just wish they got off all my makeup instead of just some. But for the price I would most likely buy them again since no other wipes have impressed me.

Products I won't purchase again
Ok so I LOVE NYX! I'm not sure if it was just the one that I bought but I really don't like these. The formula is sticky and grainy and leaves that white film on my lips. I'll be sticking with the Megashine's from now on.

Long time no post...
I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving! Mine was good, just spend it with my mom, auntie and cousin at home and I did most of the cooking for the first time, which I actually really enjoyed. So, it was cool.
I'm also really torn about school, because it's like when I really sit and think about what I would love to be doing everyday as a career nothing is clear enough. I just have lots to think about I guess.
Well I just wanted to fill all of you in a little bit.
I miss you ladies!!
Take Care! =)

Review: Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturizer
Other info: Also comes in a lite formula for you fair skinned ladies.
Price: $ 30.00
Where you can buy it: Sephora, Sephora.com, Benefitcosmetics.com and anywhere else Benefit is sold.
My Rating: 2 Peace signs
The Good: For those days you don't feel like wearing much makeup and need something quick this is definitely an alternative. A little goes a long way with this you need very little to cover your whole face. Blends easily and dries fast.
The Bad: I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin (like I have) because once your face starts getting oily this product really makes your skin look extra shiny and not that pretty glow either. It also doesn't hold up if you sweat or it's a humid day (like in the summers) when there's that extra moisture in the air. It definitely doesn't replace normal moisturizer so you still have to make sure you do that extra step because if you tend to have dry spots this won't really help that. In my opinion this product would work better for those with non oily skin.
Overall: I loved this at first but after using it for a couple of months and through weather changes I liked it less and less. To me, it really wasn't worth the $30.
*Just MY opinion of this product, you never know YOU could love it!*

Review: MAC prep+prime face w/SPF 50
I got a request on the Cbox from Precious to do this review.
What it Claims: A skin-protecting cream with SPF 50. Applies under makeup to prime the skin for the sun. Featherweight, fast-absorbing, oil-free, invisible. Will not affect the look, texture or long-wear integrity of your makeup. Specially formulated with oil-absorbing powder, helps prevent oil breakthrough. Provides high-level broad spectrum sun protection. Worn daily helps guard the skin against discolouration, premature aging, dryness and other effects of sun exposure. Suitable for all skins.
(Credit to MAC for the info)
Price: $28.00
Packaging: 3 peace signs
Where you can buy it: Any MAC counter, free standing store, PRO store and maccosmetics.com.
Overall Product Rating: 5+ peace signs
The Good: I can't even count how many face primers I've tried but I should have gave up after this one. I do want to try the one with out SPF though. This is totally my HG face primer without a doubt, nothing else has kept my face makeup on for so long and my oil under control. I've gone at least 15 hours with just a slight touch of oil coming through, nothing like how it usually is. I think the first time I ever used it, I was shocked at how matte my face was at the end of the day. Even in the hot summers of Las Vegas it held up! So that has to mean something!! lol The formula is light with a kind of whipped texture to it, a little goes a long way because if you use too much you'll see a white film on your face. But if you use the regular amount about a dime size it blends well.
The Bad: I can't stand the packaging!! Once you get low you really have to struggle to get the product out. I personally think it should come in the pump like the regular formula. That's about it though.
Overall: I LOVE this primer, it will take a lot to convince me something is better!
If there was anything you wanted to know that I might have left out just let me know!!

"It was like heaven, right smack in the middle of hell"
Anywayz...Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple days, I've been giving my laptop a break and catching up on other things I've been neglecting in the last little while. I've also been catching up with a couple friends that in our busy lives have slightly lost contact with, I never stopped thinking about them though. It feels great, I might already have girls night set up (which I desperately need more than I'm willing to admit! lol) so I can't wait for that. I have pics for upcoming posts uploaded to my computer now, I just need to edit and then they'll be up.
I also (just a like a few other bloggers) decided to not do any haul's for awhile, except for a swap I have coming up so that I can save my money. I'm horrible at saving and I always realize later on that I buy things just because not really thinking about whether or not I really needed it and then when I do need something I'm broke. Something I really need to work on. Since Christmas is creeping up extremely fast I need money for that and my birthday as well (even though I still have no clue what I'm doing). So, since I decided that I realized I needed something else to fill in those spots as far as posts go. I'm going to do a Pua (which is flower in Hawaiian) series of looks inspired by these hair flowers I make. I'm excited about it because I'm going to try and do some new things with my makeup and use colors I usually wouldn't.
I guess that's all for now, Hope you ladies are having a good week so far!

My lazy weekend EOTD and Mini Haul
I also got these three things:
It's not makeup, but they're all beauty related. Hopefully I can get my eyebrows to look better with the shapers I watched a youtube video the other day about how to use them different ways. I needed a new exfoliater because my other one went bad in the shower (yucky!) and my hands always get extremely dry in the colder weather so I'm hoping the lotion will keep them moisturized.
If any of you ladies would like a review on any of these just let me know!

Let's talk Lipstick...
7 deadly lippies!!
I tried to do like she did and take pics of my lips with each of these on, but it just wasn't working out for me so I'll just explain why I love each one...
C.O. Bigelow Cinnamint mentha lip shine-I've been using this since it first came out and it's always the one I go back to buy, especially when there's a sale. It smells awesome and I like to wear it alone on days I don't feel like using much on my lips.
Lip smacker in Strawberry Kiwi-This stuff is like my new love right now, I've been using it so much since I got it last weekend. It keeps my lips soft and moisturized for a good amount of time and also gives a very nice soft pink color.
MAC lustre glass in Love Nectar-Such a pretty shimmery pink!! I wore this almost everyday over the summer, it's versatile with many different looks and on those barely there makeup days.
NYX mega shine lip gloss in Beige-This has to be my fav of all. It's like THEE perfect pink to me, I love to pair it with all kinds of different looks. I always think I need to buy cases of it so I never run out! lol
MAC Lipglass in Lust-This was my first ever lipglass color I got from MAC. I always seem to go back to it no matter how addicted I am to the other 6 up there. It's like a pretty mix of pink and brown but not too strong, just right. I always love to pair it with a dark smokey eye but it can go with lots of other looks especially neutrals.
OK so since this is a tag....
I tag....YOU, yep YOU reading this right now!! Let me know when you do, I'd love to know everyone else's "7 deadly lippies"
=D
Review: Beyond the Zone Turn up the Heat Flat iron protection
What it Claims: A spray-in treatment that smooths the hair. This humidity resistant heat styling aid adds a "Heat Defense" barrier that protects the hair from thermal heat. This product helps optimize the effectiveness of flat irons, curling irons, and hair dryers while providing outstanding heat protection while adding smoothness, shine and softness to your hair.
-Use with flat irons, curling irons or any heat styling appliance
-Leaves hair soft and manageable
-Provides luxurious shine
-Seals the cuticle for silky smooth looking hair
-Creates slip for effortless heat styling
Tips for using: To smooth frizz and add shine, mist lightly all over damp hair and blow dry with a round brush. For sleek, straight hair or smooth, defined curls, mist lightly onto sections of dry hair and comb through to ends. Flat iron or curl with a curling iron.
For blow-drying: Hold 8 inches from the head and spray directly onto wet hair. For styling with irons on dry hair: Spray onto dry hair before using heat appliances, working in sections. Allow hair to cool, then brush or separate with fingers.
Ingredients: CYCLOPENTASILOXANE ,NEOPENTYL GLYCOL DIETHYLHEXANOATE ,DIISOPROPYL SEBACATE ,DIISOPROPYL ADIPATE ,TOCOPHERYL ACETATE ,ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE ,FRAGRANCE ,LIMONENE ,LINALOOL ,GERANIOL ,HEXYL CINNAMAL
Price: $6.49 regular. $5.99 with membership card, it's also on sale right now for $4.50.
Where you can buy it: Sally's beauty supply store or http://www.sallybeauty.com/
My Rating: 4 peace signs
The Good: After using it for about a week I noticed my hair was more smooth and shiny. I also didn't have any little frizzies or fly aways. I feel my hair starting to get a little more healthy and it makes me not feel bad about straightening my hair as much as I do. There also isn't a sticky feeling or residue it leaves behind. It's a light spray so it doesn't weigh hair down at all. Totally staying in my hair care routine for a good while.
The Bad: Personally I'm not really into the scent, it's kind of berryish. So, that's why I took the point off.
Overall: I really like it, I stopped using a heat protector for awhile because I was using a leave in conditioner but now that I started using this I realized I should have never stopped.

Sale@ CVS and Haul
LOREAL H.I.P. IS ON SALE BOGO 1/2 OFF!!
This was all I could get because the CVS I went to barely had anything left and what was still there was open and messed with and that's just gross! lol.
Color Truth Cream liners in Midnight Blue and Eggplant
Last week I watched a video on youtube where a girl used fluidline as a color base for her eyeshadow and these are pretty much the same thing so I seen my mom had a brand new one in black and I used it and loved how it worked. I didn't have a blue or purple base so that's why I really wanted these two colors.
Hope you ladies have an awesome tuesday!! =)

Review: Loreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense
Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Polyester-5, Alcohol Denat., Trilaureth-4 Phosphate, Acacia/Acacia Senegal Gum, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Propylparaben. May Contain: CI 77266/D&C Black No. 2.
Additional Info: For this "Carbon Black" formula it is only available in one color.
Price: $6.99-$8.99
Where you can buy it: Walmart, Target, Kmart, Ulta and anywhere else Loreal is sold.
My Rating: 5+++ peace signs.
The Good: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this liquid eyeliner!! I used the regular formula for years before this one came out and have been using this one for 2 years now. The felt tip applicator makes it SO easy to get the perfect cat eye or for a nice thin line. I've used tons of other liquid liners and this one is way easy to use and I always get a perfect straight line (sometimes without even trying). The color is a very deep dark black and has a slight shine to it once it dries (which is fast, only a few seconds) but nothing major. I also like how you can make the line thinner or thicker very easily so depending on what kind of look you want, you just apply more or less pressure. The lasting power is great, I've gone more than 12 hours without it budging. OK, so I don't think I could have said more good stuff about this!
The Bad: In my opinion, none.
Overall: Definitely my HG liquid liner (even though I'm always trying others to see how they compare! lol) I would totally recommend it. It's just a really good product, especially from Loreal which I don't really use except for the HIP line.
