NOTW: The Blues

Hey ladies!!

I'm back to share my nails for this week, I couldn't decide on what color I was feeling so I took out a bunch and asked bestie what she thought and these were the two she picked out...

Polishes used:

Sinful colors base coat, Pure Ice in Kiss me here, LA Girl Flare in Teal and Seche Vite fast dry top coat

These have to be my two favorite blues in my collection, love!! I'm also really into the accent nail lately, I switch fingers a lot to see how it looks but I like how it gives a little extra to the nails.

What's your favorite blue nail polish?

Where have I been?!

Hey everyone!!

I'm so sorry for not posting in awhile, I've been SO busy last weekend I threw my bestie a baby shower and this week I was catching up on everything including sleep. I was so glad I was able to do this for her and for it to turn out as great as it did.

Here's some pictures from that day:

 The diaper cake I made!

My bestie Rachel looking gorgeous as always!

Rachel with all her gifts for the baby :)

The cake that was SO delicious!!

The fruit kabobs that I made, they were a huge hit!

I had so much fun doing this for her, I tried to keep it a surprise but I told her about it anyway so she would be prepared. I can't wait for her baby girl to be here, we refer to her as little nanner since she hasn't decided on a name yet. I can't wait to be Auntie Niya!! :)

I'll be back very soon with beauty posts!

Review: Alba papaya enzyme facial mask

What it claims: Green papaya enzymes gently loosen and dissolve dull surface cells and impurities, helping to improve texture and radiance for a healthy, vibrant complexion.

Gentle for all skin types. pH Balanced.

-100% Vegetarian ingredients. No animal testing.
-Hypo-allergenic

How to use: After cleansing, apply a smooth, thin layer of mask evenly over face and neck. Leave for 5 minutes (will not dry on skin) and rinse clean. Avoid delicate eye area.

Where you can buy it: Target, Walgreens, Walmart, http://www.albabotanica.com/ and anywhere else Alba products are sold.

Price: $10-$14 (depending on where you buy it)

My Rating: 4 Peace Signs

The good: I originally found this mask on sale and needed one at the time so I picked this up. I will say that I like to use this in the summer time or when we're in the warmer months. It has a gel consistency that is really cooling when you apply it. My favorite part about this mask was as soon as I washed it off I could instantly see how it brightened my complexion and my skin was extra soft too.

The bad: The one bad things I could say is that it kind of burned a little when it really settled onto your face and I didn't see any difference in texture or removing of "impurities" so to speak.

Overall: This is a really great mask that I may repurchase when it's closer to summer but it's not something I feel I need for my overall skincare.

If you have any questions on anything I might have left out just let me know!

*This is MY opinion and experience with this product. It may or may not work the same for you, you never know.*

February faves

Hello ladies!

Here are my favorites for February, since it was a short month and went by pretty quick I just have a few products.

1. Queen Helene Mint Julep masque. I took a break from using this after I finished my last tube and let me tell you my skin suffered without it! I use it as a full mask once a week or as a spot treatment overnight and it works great! It's definitely a must have in my skin care routine.

2. Suave detangling spray. My hair tends to get really tangled no matter how I wear it so after I wash it I need something to make combing it out easy, this spray not only smells good (like apples!) but does a great job at tackling my tangles, another must have in my hair routine.

3. Lipsmackers in Strawberry kiwi. These lip balms are so smooth and make my lips extremely soft.

4. MAC Slim shine in Funshine. I've had this forever and only used it a few times but lately it's been a fun color when I wear a neutral look.

5. Icing polish in Mint 2 Be. If you seen my last NOTW you know how much I love this! Plus it's just super pretty.

6. ELF Blush and Bronzing powder. I finally got this after wanting it forever and I use it everyday now!

If you would like a review on any of these things just let me know!

What was something you were loving in February?
