March Faves

Hello my gorgeous readers!! :)

I'm sticking to it with the faves posts, so here are the products I was really loving the month of March:

I just noticed everything is pink and black! lol

L to R:

-Victoria's Secret Garden body splash in Enchanted Apple, I just discovered this scent at the start of the month and I'm in love! It's a very girly scent but not overly fruity.

-Soap&Glory Flake Away. I love this body scrub! It's not too rough, just right for getting that stubborn dry skin off your body. It has a nice scent and leaves skin feeling very soft.

-Lush Grease Lightening. My HG spot treatment! It diminishes pimples overnight and helps with red spots. Also since using it I've noticed my acne scars lighten much faster.

-Rimmel Max Volume Flash mascara. It's my go to mascara for the last couple months and I just love it, I had to put it in for this month as well.

-Wet N Wild Mega last lip color in 901B Think Pink. This lipstick is matte but not drying at all and it's the perfect baby pink. I can't stop wearing it!

-NYX Mega shine lipgloss in Beige. This lipgloss has been my favorite for over a year now but on top of the WNW lipstick it makes for the perfect pink lip combo!

What were you loving in March?

-Our biggest brush ever featuring Perfect-Fit technology: flexible hollow fibre bristles to fit to each lash perfectly for maximum volume

-Exclusive lash expand formula dries fast for mess-free, clump-free application

-Enriched with collagen to fatten and Keratin to strengthen lashes

-14x volume

-Suitable for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes

Colors available: Black and Extreme Black

Price: $5.99-$7.99

Where you can buy it: Target, Ulta, Walmart, Drugstores and anywhere else Rimmel products are sold

My Rating: 5 Peace Signs

Before I get into detail on my thoughts here are some pictures on how it looks on my lashes:

Bare lashes curled-

One coat-
Two coats-
The brush up close-

The Good: As you can see from the pictures it makes quite a difference in my lashes both in volume and length, which this mascara doesn't claim but actually does. The formula is really great to do both of those in one! I like that it dries fast but not too fast. I love big brushes which for some can be not such a great thing but for me it's perfect. It gets the very inner and outer lashes very well, also because of it's size you get done much faster since it covers a good portion of the lashes at one time. I also get very little to barely any clumping.

The Bad: I wouldn't say it volumizes 14x but do we ever take that claim seriously?! lol. It goes on slightly thick so if you like to add more than two coats then it definitely will start getting clumpy. There is a small amount of flaking after maybe 5-6 hours of wear.

Overall: I really like it! Rimmel mascaras have yet to fail me so this is another one I'm impressed with. Plus it's affordable so it's definitely worth a try!

If you have any questions on something I might have left out please feel free to ask me!

*Just my opinon/experience with this product. It may or may not work the same for you, you never know!*

Update, No-buy and Project 10 pan

*Keroppi was always my fave! I wanted a picture related to moving so I thought this was cute!*

Hey everyone!!

I know I've totally been lacking on posting again but hopefully after this post I'll do better since I have lots of things that need to be posted. I said before that lots of things are going on in my life and I won't go into detail about much but I will say that me and my family have decided to relocate. It's somewhere far from where I am now and it will be a huge trasition but it's what we need right now. We don't have to stay there forever and I know it will be a good thing. I've also decided on school but won't start until after we move which isn't until after summer.

Also last week Rai and I decided to go on a no buy until June. It started this past sunday and it's really made me re-think how I use things. I've already gone through my make up and all of my other beauty products so I have a plan on what needs to be used. It's really going to feel good to save money and not let things go to waste. We did decide on a few exceptions which are:

-Essentials (things you need for daily use)
-Gift cards (hey it's not technically OUR money we're spending lol)
-Items that are 75% or more off (Um hello you can't pass up a deal like that!)

On top of the no buy I also chose to start the project 10 pan which I'm sure most of you have heard of, there's more info HERE. What you do is choose 10 items to finish before you're allowed to buy something new. I chose a few items that might take me over the time the no buy ends but that's okay since I'll need the extra money I'll be saving for the move.

So on to the 10 products I chose:

L to R top:

-Rimmel Fix and Perfect foundation primer (30% left)
-MAC Technakohl liner in Graphblack (over 50% left)
-Loreal Double Extend mascara (almost brand new)
-Loreal Collagen mascara (less than 50% left)
-Pure Luxe mineral blush in Nymph (20% left)

L to R bottom:

-Smiths Rosebud Salve (50-60% left)
-Lipsmacker watermelon (50% left)
-C.O. Bigelow Cinnamint lip shine (50% left)
-Orignal Strawberry Chapstick (80% left)
-Clean and Clear oil free dual action moisturizer (20% left)

So that's everything! I'm hoping I can get through it all sooner than later because lots of it hasn't got much love lately and others I just want to get rid of since my love has faded for them.

Wish me luck!

Have a great weekend!

February faves

Hey everyone!

I'm trying to keep up with the monthly favorites so here's mine for the month of February...

Top L to R:

-Alba Botanica papaya enzyme mask. I was a little hesitant about this at first because I'm used to using clay masks or sheet masks and this is more of a gel. It feels very cooling as soon as you put on and all the way through the 5 minutes until you rinse it off. It makes my skin so soft and my complexion is much brighter as well.

-Garnier Fructis leave-in conditioning cream. This is the perfect consistency and really conditions my ends. I like that it's a squeeze bottle so you can use only what you need. The best part is the price for $2.99 you can't beat it!

-Soap and Glory Girligo spray on body moisturizing mist. It says on the bottle to spray this on right after the shower but I have to use lotion first then I spray this on for extra moisture. If you rub it in you can feel how soft it makes your skin and it smells pretty good too.

Bottom L to R:

-MAC powder blush in Mocha. I swear ever since I bought this I can't stop wearing it! It's a really pretty plum pink that can be soft but you can build it up to be a darker pink as well.

-MAC mineralized skin finish in Medium Dark. Ok now this I really can't stop using! It depends on the day but I usually just put primer and then this on and I'm good to go. I don't need a ton of coverage so I'm able to wear it alone. I love how it really matches my skin well and when I do wear foundation is gives the perfect finish.

-Rimmel Max Volume mascara. Another item with non stop use! I find myself reaching for this mascara everyday because it really makes a difference in my lashes. A detailed review with pictures is coming soon!

-Lush Honey Trap lip balm. At first I didn't know how I would like this because it's really hard and takes some work to get through the first layer. The smell is okay but I love how it moisturizes my lips. I apply this at night before bed and in the morning my lips are so soft!

So, that's it. Not too many items since it was a short month.

If you have any questions or would like reviews on anything, let me know!

Finally an FOTD!

Hey everyone!!

First I wanted to say a big big THANK YOU to all my new followers as well as all of the ones that have stuck with me so far, I truly appreciate you all! :)

It's been forever since I last posted a look so I figured it was time for one. This look is actually from yesterday but I didn't get around to posting it until now. I always think about different combo's I could do that could bump up a look a little so I just did a simple brown smokey eye by layering 3 colors and using a darker color in the crease. Then I used a cream liner on my lower lashline as a base for the purple eyeshadow.

Sorry there aren't any close up shots of my eyes the ones I took looked better on my camera than they did when I uploaded them. So there's only two full face shots. My hair wasn't cooperating so that's why I have the crazy strands sticking out on the side lol.

Products used to get this look:

UDPP
MAC paint pot in Layin low
MAC eye shadow's in Cork, Texture, Beauty Burst and Llama
Kat Von D Palette in True love eye shadow in Rebekah
Loreal HIP cream eyeliner in Eggplant
Sally girl baked eye shadow #388127

Rimmel max volume mascara
Maybelline define-a-brow in Dark brown
Wet n wild intuitive blend in Medium
MAC mineralized skin finish natural in Medium dark
MAC powder blush in Mocha

So that's it, I have lots of posts coming up including some reviews that were requested so be on the lookout for those!
