Mascara mishap and Teeny haul

Hey my loves!!

I hope you all had a great weekend! On Saturday night I was getting ready and I went to put on my mascara and this is what it looked like:

Gross huh?! That's my Loreal extra volume collagen mascara. What happened was when I went to go open it it wouldn't unscrew and it was really hard to twist. When it finally came loose and opened the stopper popped off and was stuck in the cap. There's no way to get it out. The wand was just open to all the product so this is how it looked when I took it out. I've never had this happen before.

So, since I used up my other mascara and this was all I had I went to get another real quick. This is what I picked up:

It's the Hard Candy Ginormous lash volumizing mascara. I've only used it twice so I still don't have a set opinion on it but it has potential so we'll see!

Just thought I would share that real quick just in case it might happen to any of you that use the Loreal mascara.

'till next post...

Review: Sally Girl blushes

It's the weekend again! I don't have anything planned, I'm trying to save my money for black Friday. Anyways, here's a little review for you all!

What it claims: Sally girl blush gives you a fresh, sexy look.

Where you can buy it:
Only at Sally beauty supply

Price:
$1.99 or $1.89 with your sally club card

Colors available:
C-ya, Frenemy and Flushed

My Rating:
4.5 peace signs

The Good:
These are the blushes I tend to use the most especially on days where I need just a little something on my cheeks. They aren't extremely pigmented but they definitely build very well and blend out easily. I think they are a great buy especially for the price.

The Bad:
If you're a frequent blush user these might run out fast for you since they are only .16oz which is pretty small.

Overall:
I really like these cute little blushes and I think they are definitely worth a try.

Below are some swatches so you can see the color comparisons.

Left to right: Flushed, C-ya and Frenemy

*Swiped about 3-4 times each*

If you have any questions on something I might have left out, ask away!

Have any of you ladies tried this blush? How did you like it?

*Just MY opinion/experience with this product. It could or could not work the same for you, you never know!*

My go-to face and NOTW

Hey Everyone!!

First I wanted to say a big hello and thank you to my new followers!! :D

I hope you're all having a good week so far! I can't wait for Friday because I'm going to see NEW MOON! hahah I'm not overly excited just yet only cuz it's been a blah time for me lately so yeah...

OK so I just wanted to share a look that I always tend to do when I don't have much time or just need something quick.

Products used to get this look:

MAC Paint Pot in layin low

MAC Eye shadows in Llama, Texture and Brown Script

Loreal Carbon black lineur intense

Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara

MAC brow wax in clear

Sweet Sweets brow pencil in NF4

MAC prep+prime face

MAC studio fix powder

Sally girl blush in C-ya

Watermelon lip smackers

NYX Mega shine lip gloss in Beige

Since I do this look a lot the products have gone down to just this list and I can get it done in about 10 mins so it's really easy.

OK on to my NOTW I know that this color was in my last one but I'm just really loving it right now but to change it up slightly I did a little purple zebra-ish design. It's just something simple so yeah...

I used:

Review: Aussie hair insurance leave-in conditioner

First I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all my followers both current and new. The current ones because you kept following even while I was on my little "in between" stage and the new ones for supporting me now that I'm back! I truly appreciate each and every one of you! :)

On to the review...

What it Claims: A true work-a-holic, this leave-in conditioner, accented with Australian Silk Protein, puts in overtime to keep hair strong.

Married to it's job. Burning the midnight oil. Any way you put it (which should be in your hair). Hair insurance leave-in conditioner spray is always working hard to ward off hair-related accidents.

Directions: Spray into clean, damp hair. Do that thing you do to your 'do, but don't rinse.

Where you can buy it: Most drugstores, Wal-mart, Target, Ulta and anywhere else Aussie products are sold.

Price: $2.99-$3.99

My Rating: 4 Peace Signs

The Good: I did this post forever ago HERE and I talked about how I used regular detangler after the shower so my hair was more manageable and even though I do still love that product, I wanted something that had a few more benefits to it. This leave-in conditioner detangles, smooths and smells SO good it has a coconutty fruity scent to it if that makes sense lol. I always get tangles in my hair no matter how good of a conditioner I use in the shower so using something like this after is a must for me. It doesn't leave any sticky-ness or buildup and what I love most is that there isn't any oily residue which my hair doesn't need. During the summer my hair took a beating while I was on vacation because I forgot this but as soon as I came home and used it again my hair was very grateful and looks as well as feels much better.

The Bad: I know you're supposed to trim your hair every so often to prevent split ends but because my hair takes so long to grow I go a little while longer than usual so I was hoping this would prolong the process and not make my split ends any worse but as far as I could tell it wasn't doing anything for that. That was really the only thing I could see wrong with it.

Overall: I'm on my second bottle right now so that just says that I LOVE this! It's a must in my hair routine.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

*Just my opinion/experience with this product. It may or may not work you, you never know!*

FOTD: Cut crease with pink lip

Hey everyone!!

I can't believe it's already November, even though it really doesn't feel like it here in Vegas. The weather has been so weird last week it was freezing and now this week we're back in the 80's idk what's going on!

Anywayz...I've been doing just the minimum lately when it comes to make up because I just haven't had time to do much more but I finally got around to doing a full on look. This is a neutral cut crease that I paired with a bright lip.

Here it is...

I'm only showing one eye closed because the lighting wasn't working with me and the left eye always looked way dark.

Full face shot...

What I used to get this look:

MAC Paint pot in Layin low

NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk

MAC Ricepaper as browbone highlight

MAC Llama all over lid

Jane Colorstick in True original

MAC Cork as crease color

MAC Prep+Prime Skin

MAC Studio fix powder

Sally Girl blush in Frenemy

MAC Vanilla pigment as highlight

Wet n Wild lipliner in Fab fuschia

MAC lipstick in Passionate

MAC lustreglass in Love nectar

Revlon intensifying lashes

Let me know what you think!
