Ahh look at all the goodies she sent! Everything was packed so cute and neat in the box I didn't wanna mess anything up so I opened it all very carefully to reveal...

Update&Neeyuh's Tip//Trick of the week

First I wanted to say sorry for being kinda mia lately...I was busy over the weekend and I got a really bad allergic reaction to some mascara so I haven't been able to wear makeup...SUX! It should be all healed soon though cuz I still want to do all these looks for you but yeah. So for now here's my tip//trick for this week:

I'm sure some of you already know this it's pretty basic but still good to share. This one is going to be about extending the life of your eyelash curler. I don't know if it's just me but I can't stand having to buy a new lash curler every so often or when you do buy a new one it only comes with one or sometimes no extra pads.

So this is what I do...about every couple weeks or when I see that my lash curler has a lot of gunk buildup from mascara and what not I clean it. First I take out the little pad, get a dish or small container and put some makeup remover in it then place the pad in it to soak. While that is soaking I take a makeup wipe and wipe the whole lash curler from top to bottom and especially the part where it almost sits against your eye and inside the little part where the pad goes. Take the pad out from soaking and still with the makeup wipe just take off everything on it and let it dry. For a little extra sanitization I spray some rubbing alcohol all over the lash curler and pad and let it dry, then put it back together and your good to go!

For me this is like making it brand new, it works so much better after a good cleaning!

If any of you try this let me know and tell me how it worked for you!

Weekend Recap

I'm 2 days late on this but yeah...I mentioned in a few posts last week that I was going to the Pure Aloha festival over the weekend to see my cousin and her dance group perform. Here's the flyer for the event:

I did take pics but it was so packed I barely had any room to move and the pictures weren't that great so I took some video and thought it would be cool to share that. This one is of my cousin dancing she's on the right in front:

Every time I see her it makes me more and more proud of her. This next vid is of some of the boys dancing it's short cuz I was too busy staring at them to take a longer vid...hahah.

It was SO hot that day it felt like summer. So there's no pics of me cuz let me tell you I was not looking cute lol. I did get a new shirt from my fave company Island Tat and I ate some good food which was a Samoan Sami Musubi and my fave thing to get there, Malasadas. Yum! I had fun though I love going to those festivals it's always good times.

Then on Sunday night I went to a show at my mom's work, the Planet Hollywood Casino to see this:

This is what they describe it as:

PEEPSHOW is the new, sophisticated, ultra-hot show starring pop superstar Mel B (of the world famous Spice Girls) and General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco (Dancing with the Stars champion). PEEPSHOW is a full-throttle production show accompanied by a red-hot live band and 25 sizzling dancers and performers from the worlds of pop music, film, television and Broadway. Created by an award-winning team, PEEPSHOW combines sexy striptease, playful storytelling and celebrity star power.

It was OK, I mean it kind of geared towards men but it has a girl relate-able story line. It's about a girl who is down about not finding a man and the sexy woman shows her how to be confident and sexy and all the things she has to do get a man so in the end she's all those things. The thing I thought that was kinda lame was how each skit was like nursery rhyme, literally but made "sexy". I guess it was just something I can say I seen at least.

We walked around the casino and I acted like a tourist so here's some pics I took:

A look down at the casino from the second floor:

This is above the escalators, it changes colors and was sooo pretty in person:

Two restaurants they have upstairs where the show theater is:

Ohh and just to show myself at least once, here's mee before the show:

So as you can see I had a pretty cool weekend. Other than that I did a little shopping. Now I've had a toothache all day and haven't been feeling so great not like sick or anything just kinda blah so yeah. I have a few things to share and I need to get to some looks I've been putting off. So hopefully I'll post those soon.

Take Care Ladies!!

Neeyuh's Tip//Trick of the week

OK this one is going to be about hair masks. If you have damaged, color treated or dry hair then I would definitely recommend using a hair mask at least once a week. You can follow the instructions on the bottle or jar of the mask of your choice but this is something that I tried and have been doing ever since...

First you're going to be doing this before you get in the shower. Take your hair mask of choice, this is mine:

Apply a good amount to your dry, unwashed hair from root to tip. I know this may sound like a weird order but trust me on this one.

Then you put on one of these very attractive shower caps:

Isn't it cute?! lol I just like the print...you really don't have to get anything fancy like that, lol your local drugstore sells them anywhere from $1.00-$2.00.

Now go on about your shower letting the mask do it's magic the reason being is that the steam from the shower is really going to enhance the conditioning of your hair. Let it really soak in for most of your shower then take off the shower cap, rinse mask from hair and shampoo as normal. No need to condition obviously so then you're all done and left with soft, smooth and silky hair!

If any of you ladies try this out, let me know how it works for you!

Do you like reading these kinds of posts? Should I keep including them or nah?

Hoʻomaikaʻi (grateful)

Saturday was an awesome day all around for me. Something I've been really worried about was finally resolved and when I checked the mail I saw these....

Isn't getting packages the best?!

The first one is from my most awesome and greatest best friend a girl could ask for, Rachel! One day she texted me and said that she got me a present and this is what she sent mee!!!

I collect old records and she sent me a bunch that are soooo cool!! plus these mini ones and two of them I love especially one is An American Tale (which was my all time favorite movie as a kid) and the other is New Kids on The Block-Please don't go girl (my fave group back in the day and my fave song by them!) I almost freaked out when I seen them! lol. She also got me some Edward Sweethearts (LOVE!), Sun-ripened raspberry body cream, oil blotters and a bracelet which she has a matching one. I can't Thank you enough Dude!! Here's an insider....I said I fuckin love you!! (in my jonah voice) hahaha :D

I also got my swap package from TOTALLY sweet and fellow twi-hard (hehe!) Rani Faye.

Girl, you totally spoiled me! I'm in China Glaze heaven! lol I love all the colors you picked out, most of them were on my "to buy" list too. The Goldie polishes are sooo pretty and the bottles they come in are adorable! I thought it was sooo cool you added the Twilight Sweethearts since my bestie sent me the Edward ones, I love them!! Thank you SOOOOO much!! Like I told you before my package to you felt sooo small compared to what you sent me so at any random time I'm gonna be sending more your way! :D

The third package in the pic we won't talk about...I was going to but decided ehhh it's whatev. But, if you really wanna know just ask me! lol

I hope this week goes by fast for me cuz next weekend is the Pure Aloha Hawaiian Festival, I can't wait to see all my "Ohana" again lol. My cousin is going to perfrom too, so I can't wait to see her! I'll try and take lots of pics this time too.

I also want to say a HUGE HUGE Thank you to all my followers, I never thought I would make it to 100 let alone 143! So, I really really appreciate it!!!

Ok I guess that's all for now...

NOTW, Aspirin/Honey Mask and Craft Stuff

Ever since last week I've been trying to come up with different nail designs and practicing certain ones I really like so here's my first one. It's zebra print, it didn't come out perfect but I still like it. I know if I practice even more it will get better but yeah....

I used Sinful Colors in Cream Pink, Art Deco in Black and CG Ice Slicks in Crystal.

Then I finally decided to try the Aspirin and Honey Mask, I've seen this everywhere lately so here's mee with it on...lol.

Just like promised my skin was SO smooth afterwards. I didn't have to use moisturizer right after like I usually do with masks because my skin gets all tight and I didn't get oily for a long time (not until the next morning when I woke up from what I seen). So I really like it and I'm gonna continue to use it and hopefully see great results.

I was looking through all of my stuff earlier in the week and found a bunch of craft items that I no longer use and was thinking that if any of you crafty ladies out there would put these to good use I would be more than happy to give them to you. Email me if your interested!! (peacelovemakeup@gmail.com)

What there is: 10 rolls of ribbon most are barely used a few have about half or less left, 2 brand new Braiding Cords, bag of beads only 2 missing, a pack of paper scraps for scrap booking i just replaced the package with a zip lock but never used, purple homespun yarn never used, black yarn maybe used about 2 feet or less of it and a 6.50MM crochet needle.

I still haven't heard from one of the winners of my lashes giveaway, so I might have to pick another winner if she doesn't email in the next few days. So yeah...I guess that's all for now. I hope you're all having an awesome weekend so far!
