Experiment/Review...

Product: Survival Paint by Facefront Cosmetics.
Price: $11.00
My Rating: 0 peace signs.
Would I buy again? No.

Well it's a big thumbs DOWN for the Facefront Survivial paint, at least if you have extremely oily lids like I do. I was reallllly disappointed because from what I heard I was expecting it to be great but it was just the opposite. The texture is a bit waxy and when you apply it, it's really creamy on you're lid and I left it to dry a couple minutes thinking it would get a little tacky but it didn't, it sort of made me feel like I was putting a thin layer of chapstick on my lids as soon as I started to apply my eyeshadow I really had to pack it on and it was hard to get it to move around the lid and get the shape I wanted, blending was also quite difficult. So I guess the search for a new primer is still on...

I decided to do a dark grey smokey eye because with primers that look is usually the one to make or break it's staying power, for me at least.

On to the pictures from my experiment...

Starting off at Noon,as you can see I still have spots that look empty on my lid and I was really packing on the eyeshadow. You can also tell the blending isn't too great the harsh lines just wouldn't budge!

About 2 hours later...already some creasing.

4 hours on...even more creasing.

Finally 9 hours on, I couldn't take it anymore! Look how nasty it looks!
*I also forgot to mention that I was inside most of the day and only left for a little bit so the weather didn't contribute to the creasing. I couldn't imagine what it would have looked like on normal day here in vegas!*
I read quite a few reviews on the Mary Kay signature primer and Benefit's f-y-eye, I may check them out or just make it easy on myself and pick up another UDPP. If you have any questions about this product or anything you would like to know that I didn't include please let me know!

Hi Neeyuh,

Thanks sweetie for stopping by my blog. I appreciate you taking the time to comment :)

Boy, that Survival Paint sure ain't the fittest in the bunch, huh? Reminds of the Base Trial I did using Cream Colour Base on it's own. Can we say crease city?!? Hah.

I hope you're having a great week so far. Thanks again for stopping by my shop and I hope to hear from you again. Keep up the great work, hun :)
