NOTW and Minnie Mouse Pj's

Hey everyone!

I hope your weekend has been great so far! Last night the fam and I all went to the buffet for dinner and later when we were coming out of a store it was snowing! It wasn't for long but it was still cool while it lasted. But yeah...

I'm finally getting around to using the nail polishes I've hauled lately, so I wanted to share my nails for this week. This color would be perfect for spring but I love it so much I could wear it any time of the year!

 Polishes used:

Sinful Colors base coat, Icing in Mint 2 Be and Seche Vite fast dry top coat.

I also had to share these cute pajama pants I got the other day, I LOVE Minnie Mouse so when I seen these I had to have them! I just took a pic of the design since you can't see it if I showed the actual pants.

Aren't they adorable?! I love them!

Do you have a polish you could wear year round?

Sinful Colors Pretty in Pink Collection

Hey everyone!!

I'm back to share with you the new collection from Sinful Colors that is perfect for Valentine's day.

"Love is in the air, romance is in bloom and pink is paramount. Welcome February 14th, a day marked by kisses, sweethearts and flirting, of course. This year, treat your tips to a Valentine's makeover, coating them in a feminine, delicate, or dynamic shade of pink. From bubble gum to baby doll---and everything in between---Sinful Colors has the best array of pink polish to pretty-you-up for the big day. "

This collection has a total of 8 shades:

Pink Forever: Bazooka meets Bam-Bam to equal beautiful.
Beautiful Girl: Classic ballerina with a flirty finish.
Glass Pink: Sheer, shiny, shimmer-happy bliss.
Boom Boom: Magenta-infused pink, which pops on toes and tips alike.
Scandal: No-nonsense neon, slick and sensational.
Soul Mate: Muted peachy pink with a melon twist.

I'll be showing you 3 of these shades below.

L to R:

Scandal, Pink Forever and Soul Mate

Swatches:

Soul Mate, Pink Forever and Scandal

As you can see these are all very different shades of pink that you can suit to how subtle or bold you wanna be.

My personal favorite is Pink Forever, it's definitely the perfect barbie pink not too light or dark.

Quick overview-

Good:

-Color is true to the bottle in 1 to 2 coats
-The handle is a good size that provides nice control
-Lasts quite a few days without chipping or peeling

Bad:

-The consistency on each of these polishes was different either too thick or too thin.
-Hard to get an even coat.
-Takes a while to dry.

Overall:

Even though the consistency takes a little getting used to I still really like these polishes and definitely recommend them!

Have you tried any of the polishes from this collection?

* These products were provided by the company for review, I was not compensated in any way and this is my honest opinion. You ladies know I love my nail polish so no sugar coating here! :) *

January Faves

It's that time again, for monthly faves!

I don't have too many since I've been trying to use things up.

1. Victoria Secret Pink with a splash in Pretty&Pure. This is the fragrance I've been reaching for a lot it's a nice light scent, I don't like anything too overpowering.

2. Victoria Secret Garden body butter in Love Spell. These body butters are the BEST I've ever tried, I swear when I put it on after my shower at night the next evening my skin still feels so moisturized. Nothing I've used has ever lasted that long on me and in this cold weather I need all the moisture I can get!

3. Nabi nail polish in Hot Flower. I LOVE this red polish! You can check out my previous post for a swatch. :)

4. Gold Bond Ultimate healing skin therapy cream. When it's cold my hands take a beating and get so dry, I apply this and it instantly puts the moisture back in my hands and makes them feel normal again.

5. Sally Girl bronzing powder in Sin-amon. I've been using this lately as a blush because it has a slight pink to it and it gives a really pretty glow as well.

6. Rosebud Strawberry lip balm. I've had this for awhile and just started using it again, it's really moisturizing and lasts a lot longer than most lip balms. I also like that it gives a small hint of pink to your lips.

7. Sheer Cover Duo concealer in Medium/Tan. I've never been much of a concealer user but lately I've been breaking out a lot and get scars so I use this to cover them up. I love how light it is so it doesn't cake up and I can mix the colors to get the perfect match.

So, that's everything! If you would like a review on any of these products just let me know!

What was something you were loving in January?
